not game-breaking or (ironically) even as bad as fallout 76 but still annoying.
Day Z is still out there and finally came out of alpha after almost 7 years but not many people play it. I think so many other games (like 7DtD) did what DayZ was trying to do but better and in a quicker time-frame. Still worth checking out I'd say but don't pay full price, wait for a Steam sale

If Bethesda had continued to support Fallout 4 and perfect the engine instead of shit out 76, Fallout 4 would be a successful game. I’m serious. A 1st person view for fort building/ tower defense survival game.

Check out Metro Exodus. It is kinda open world, it has several levels build as small open worlds and seperated by tube like story heavy levels.
You should play the prior games though, Metro 2033 and Metro Last light.
