it goes down whenever they want it to for the free part, they say for maintenance but i think it's just for lulz
anonib was fine without shilling, only took the cops to bring it down

I figured they took it down every now and then to avoid repots and law enforcement looking into it, however it's been down for non-members for weeks now.

Nah. I was on yesterday lol. It’s usually on one hour and off the next. You’re just getting unlucky with your timing. I use it every single day. But it is shit compared to anonib. R.I.P. and recently it’s now unavailable to free users on fridays.

they say it goes down to prioritize paid member traffic so that must be a shit tier vps or they want you to pay and then find out it's shit with no refund

Newchan is garbage even when the site is up. Doesn't get enough traffic to be any good. Any they keep archiving it too often relative to how little traffic the site gets.

Does anyone now if the VIP boards are the same content? I can't imagine them getting as much traffic...

The site doesn't have enough users. You'd have to be crazy to sign up for VIP to use those dead boards. It's a shame.
