Is a puncture in my bumper like this fixable, or does the bumper need to be replaced?

check to see if it touched the radiator behind it. the bumper isn't such a big deal but if it fucks up the radiator that shit can start to leak. once it leaks a little it will leak more and more

Of course it’s fixable and quite cheaply I’ve repaired a lot worse than that only thing is the colour silver is a bugger to blend so I would say best to paint the entire bumper but yes it can be done where do you live user

This looks like a Mercedes e class so a new bumper is not worth since euro cars are pieces of shit. But what u can do is put that floppy piece back, apoxy it, sand, bondo, and try to find the closes paint possible

you can probablz get the part cheap on ebay if you want to install it yourself. Should only take 10/15 minutes. If you can~t get it in silver, which i would think is unusual, then take the part to a paint shop and they~ll do it for like $200.

The big cost is the part, but ebay is definitely your friend. you~ll need to know the body-code of the car, so you get exactly the right bumper

you can replace the wipers in about 5 seconds. Just drive to a consumer car parts store (where you would go to buy a steering wheel cover or some other gay pointless shit), take your old wipers off after you park (it is self-explaintory) and take them to the dude at the counter. Replacement is around $15 for a pair, and they should be replaced once a year or so

Lol I never said us/mexi made cars are any better. But I've worked on euro cars and they are over complex, expensive to fix, and generally pieces of shit. But I'd still take a g class/ 7 series any day

Get it replaced. Get your insurance to pay for it. A Mercedes bumper will be about $1200 from the dealer unpainted, and most dealerships have in house or local body and bumper repair for instances like this. You would be surprised at how many Certified Pre Owned cars have new front bumpers or heavily reworked stock front bumpers. Just make sure your front splash shields are ok. If they are warped or torn, get those quoted and replaced.

The more i look at it, the less bad it seems. A bit if apoxy, buffing and paint and it should be good. I dont care if it doesn't look perfect. There's a dent in the door I haven't bothered fixing either. Tbh only reason i want to fix it is I have a bunch of job interviews in March and don't wanna look like a bum with a beat up old benz
