What kind of corporation? What size? What license type? That term is being abused by the general understanding most people assume is meant, versus what is actually done.
Obama's tax hike and other mandates on "corporations" which people were lead to believe meant the government was applying punitive taxes on mega-corporations meant I almost lost my job, because my single-location mom-and-pop shop job could barely afford to continue existing.
In stead, government creates such a high cost of entry to even run a business that new businesses almost cannot happen. It reduces the competition in a market to the extent that the large players basically get to charge what they please, plus they are forced to raise their prices thanks to increasing taxes and other government requirements. You think a large corporation pays its own taxes? Fuck no! They get passed on to the customer.
That means the consumer is paying taxes on behalf of the large corporation -- at least having to pay more so the large corporation can afford to still exist.
In stead, reduce government spending. Reduce regulation. Reduce taxation. Improve competition in the markets, create jobs, keep prices low and product availability high.
Fuck authoritarianism.
