Normally I'm a cunt to most people but I had to do the same thing last year op, so I know them feels. This toothy little prick stank, shat in the house, wandered off for hours at a time and was a massive pain in the arse but I loved him and he loved me. Putting him down fucking ruined me but it does get easier over time. I would suggest getting a replacement if that's feasible. If not, don't wallow in self pity cos that's pointless, try and remember how much joy he gave you and if necessary cry your fucking lungs out. It really helps.

I'm sorry user. I've never had to do that but my bestie is getting older and I dread the day that will inevitably come. But time heals all wounds.
