Is it the greatest feud of all time?
(pretend the fourth one is here too)
Is it the greatest feud of all time?
>me want title
>you have title
No
all the matches suck except the first one
The first match was incredible, genuinely an instant classic
Their second match was also pretty good, it even had no contest finish where it didn't make the wrestlers look like simps (compared to most booking like that)
I audibly groaned during their G1 rematch when they immediately began the match with the retarded fast movespam and it was easily the most predictable match of their series
All I'll say about the final match is that Okada should have won the feud
idk simple stories are sometimes the best. You can't be too artistic and pretentious.
this
forced epics
Why can't Okada pose? What's with those gas-passing facials?
lol okada's never getting his win back
But personal issue feuds are fucking awesome. When there's a genuine catharsis, it draws mega dimes
Until he comes to AEW.
Good he isn’t the protagonist of pro wrestling.
>Until he comes to AEW.
user...
Omega/Tana was a personal issue feud and that was great, but there's nothing wrong with a good "I want to be the best and I need to beat you to be the best." feud either.
>implying the Young Bucks won't book their best friend Okada to go over Kenny clean as a sheet
Okada dusts off the old Tonto costume and flies back to America for one last run. He invades AEW arena and calls out the best in AEW. JONNU MOXULEY!! Cut to Kenny seething backstage.
yeah I think there's a realness to it as well, look at Stone Cold Steve Austin, he was addicted to wanting to title, he was a sicko about it he went so far to get the title that he turned against the company.
The Rock didn't want the title, he just wanted the status so the rock got it through other means he joined with the company to move forward.
>Tonto
You're thinking of the wrong racial sidekick
i'm starting to think that Kenny killed Jay White's career by leaving abruptly and forcing White to be put into a top spot that neither him nor the fans were ready for
Jay is fine. It might've been a LITTLE early for him to get the hebikyu but not by that much and he's had a great year either way.
Oh shit right. Kato right?
Ever since then Omega went down hill while Okada went up hill
No.
except Who Japan is artistic and pretentious with all their forced callback spots and each match going longer than the previous
No there's nothing wrong with it but it'll never be all time great.
Yup, the yellow stereotype not the red one
well that's different, that's their sthick. And same with Lucha, it's just a different culture and style. BUT for that reason alone AEW is going to have problems, do people really need ANOTHER wrestling promotion nowadays doing "western style" or WWE style wrestling? It might just be overwhelmed
No
He's just making New Japan's history while the Cleaner is jobbing to Cawdy daily.
