I wanted to make this new thread on the situation because I think it addresses a wider problem on the board that people aren't seeing. To those who say 'great another thread' about it, I've looked at the threads about it since and none of them explain the same thing I'm saying.
The biggest problem about the popular Nyla Rose post on the front page is that it's whole content is based on something that just doesn't happen on this board.
It's kinda sad in 2019 if you call Nyla Rose a bad wrestler you get called transphobic. the tough thing is if you mention this, you're automatically labeled transphobic and hating progress.
I'm sorry but I've yet to see one popular comment or post on here saying people who criticise Nyla's wrestling are transphobic, and I would challenge those who disagree with me to find one popular example before they sage and move on, because I'm sorry it simply doesn't happen, or at least doesn't happen enough to warrant a 700 reply stickied post on the front page about it. So it makes you think why would a post about something that doesn't happen get replied to so much, and pinned.
Secondly, I've never seen anyone criticised to the level Nyla has been for the purported sole reason of 'being an average worker', when she's only had 3 matches that people have seen, one that was awesome, and who hasn't even had a singles match yet that people have seen. Like I've seen people criticised to that level for other reasons, like bad booking or unsafe working or not showing up enough, but never for a simple reason like 'she's an average worker', that which about half of WWE's women's champions have been so far. That is definitely worrying to see, the level of popularity there is for criticising mediocre things about her.
Most importantly I worry about what it says about Yea Forums, and how unwelcoming it might feel to people who are part of the community who are also trans, and I'd love to hear an opinion of a trans member of the community because they should be who we listen to above all. It feels like to me because she's trans this board seems to have Nyla Rose under a microscope and it's not an environment I like this board to have at all. The reality is if she wasn't trans what they would see is a goliath character champion being crowned as we've seen a million times before, and nobody would think twice about it. I think the most telling comments are the ones saying why Awesome Kong isn't in her position, when the woman can barely move around let alone wrestle, if you're going to base your opinion on Nyla not being a good enough worker to be champion, don't then bring up Kong as an alternative and act like there's no other reason.
The criticism on Nyla compared to other 'average workers' who have been in the same position is far more and I think that's the key thing people have a problem with. It's not so much the content of the posts as there are always shit content posts, it's about the popularity of these posts, the silent replies, the silent (You)s, the different treatment she gets, that worry people the most.
I understand this post will be saged by people who aren't interested, and don't want to read someone explain their opposing opinion to them, especially in new, but I feel it's necessary and good for the community to get my opinion out there that I know a lot of people also have, with detail and explanation.
based hey bud want to join my stable? namechads like us... together we could rule this board what do you say?

this board is nearly dead except the nyla threads because reddit has to come here to post their opinions without getting downvoted and I'm not sure how I feel about it
