This. People who are fans of Goto don't really know what they want. They do not want Goto to be pushed more. He is already pushed to the level of acceptability. Push him more? And people who like him would turn on him. Because similar to Taichi and Naito's fanbase a lot of Goto's appeal is that he is not on the top, that he is being "held down". Because people who scream the most about him being not pushed enough would sour on him quickly if he was on top. That's how their fandom works.
