It has been over a month since I have updated [s4s] on research at the Argentine Yosho and Micro-Flube Research Laboratory.
Dr Flebe had the toughest challenge trying to advance the Flamingo Yosho. After the successes of Creating a new Yosho-Gamma in the image of Tired Oldfig Yosho, creating malachite Yosho-Delta, and Advancing Yoshtaro Kusho & Yosho Platinum into Advanced Stand-User Yoshtaro Kusho, Dr Flebe set to work on Advancing Flamingo Yosho, but there was a challenge to overcome in that Flamingo Yosho was found to not be like other Yoshos.
Flamingo Yosho descends from a lineage of Yoshos that are still the same species, but slightly distantly related, such as different breeds of dog. This made alterations of its body structure a unique challenge, but Dr Flebe managed to finally accomplish it. Dr Flebe was also occupied with new breakthroughs following Dr Kawashima's conference in February, stating that it may be possible to include more than 2 micro-flubes in a reaction, allowing for the potential isolation of the remaining unisolated micro-flubes.
Of course, Triakrene is no longer of concern for isolation, as I have offered my hair for research. As you know, I am one of only three known sources of Triakrene, the others being Spikeman and Fawa. We don't have a species name, but I've been referring to us as Spikefigs. Interestingly, the hair gravitates away from Dr Flebe's tweezers when he attempts to examine it.
Rebus has a lot on his plate, and I myself have to discuss a potential mission to rescue the two creatures in the tank at Spikeman's lair with Ryuta, Kokubu Yosho and a number of other people who are concerned. We believe they are Yoshos, and that they may have undergone a cruel kind of advancement that is purely immoral.
Of course, you wish to see the fruits of Rebus' labour.
This is the Advanced Flamenco Flamingo Yosho. His feathers form a Flamenco dress, and he moults in October in preparation for the Argentine summer. He's a very skilled dancer, and has gained a lot of confidence following the Yosho design competition, where he placed 3rd.

Thank you all for your ongoing support of Dr Flebe's studies, but there's been a problem at the lab.
I woke up two hours ago and found that Rebus had texted me to come to the lab urgently. When I got there, I found local authorities and all the lab staff outside, and soon after I'd learned that some of the yoshos had gone missing overnight.
Kokubu Yosho, Advanced Flamenco Flamingo Yosho, Loli Yosho and Advanced Neck Chartreuse Yosho are just 4 of the yoshos who have disappeared from the facilities.

I've never mentioned it before now, but, until February, Kokubu Yosho had been working for Spikeman. He'd been hired by Fawa to capture yoshos from the field for their use and experimentation.
It was in February that Kokubu Yosho was in the Argentine Steppe, when "a beacon of light shone from a hilltop", as Kokubu worded it. He went to investigate, and it was Tathagata Yosho. All Tathagata Yosho knew was his name, and his purpose to prevent the Yosho race from coming to harm. Tathagata Yosho asked Kokubu Yosho if he wanted to travel with him to Buenos Aires, for he sensed his presence being needed there, and Kokubu Yosho accepted.
They encountered me as I was walking to a cafe. I knew Kokubu Yosho, as he had been hired by Fawa back when I still lived with the Spikeman. I invited them to the cafe with me, but I had to remind Kokubu Yosho to tell no-one that I was related to The Spikeman.
Now, he helps Dr Flebe around the lab occasionally, but he mostly hijacks my computer. I don't mind it, because he always comes off when I need it. He spends a lot of time with Kokubu Yosho, too.
Tathagata Yosho went missing too. I hope he's in control of this. He seems to be capable enough.
I am not, no. That being said, our first encounter was prompted by how similar our names are.

The missing yoshos have returned to the lab!
This is a most spectacular turn of events, and there were only misjudgements on the part of the enemy and the Lab staff who doubted the missing yoshos.
Tathagata Yosho and Kokubu Yosho lead a small guerrilla force with the intention of rescuing whatever Fawa and Spikeman had in those strange vats, and returned to Buenos Aires with 2 Yoshos!

The first of these is an Advanced Yosho with the ability to fly! To my mind, this is the only yosho other than Tathagata Yosho who can fly.
He is Advanced Flying Beige Yosho, and he has a very fancy head feather that flows in the wind.
These are awesome yoshos!!!!!! Glad their ok!! But what about the rest of the missing yoshoes.......????????

The 5 yoshos who went on the mission searched the base but found no signs of other yoshos.
We don't believe there are any. We may be wrong, as Fawa has outsmarted us before, but these are all the yoshos we were able to rescue.

I believe Spikeman is nice too, but Fawa has brainwashed him and now Spikeman's digging a deeper hole for himself as he gets led on by Fawa to kill Yosho. We need to keep Yosho safe, or we may see the world as we know it disappear.
Relevance is a powerful thing, and, in the wrong hands, it can cause catastrophic events on the scale of black holes.
