He was better than Bret

He was better than Bret.
Change my mind.

I cant imagine anybody disagreeing with that, desu

He kicked his leg out of his leg.

Bret was a better promo and character and had better storytelling but Owen was more fun to watch. Owen was so far ahead of his time in being a high flyer that wasn't a Mexican or twerp.

He was more charismatic, Bret Hart couldn't have ever played a tongue-in-cheek charecter like the Blue Blazer and make it funny.

Not better at living

>Change my mind.
Why would I argue against the truth?

The only thing he didn’t have the Bret did was the passion. He was pretty close to hanging them up right before he died anyway. He was cheap, saved his money and ready to go when his contract was up.
If it wasn’t for the concussion, it’s not out of the world of possibility Bret goes into the mid 2000s.

Bret didn't break anyone's neck.

He was a better high flyer, thats for sure

how come the kliq hated bret but loved owen?

I have no reason to change your mind since in fact you have the right idea.

Owen was an known jokester/prankster he wasn't known for having a stick up his butt

Owen and Hennig were impossible to not like.

Terry Funk planned on retiring in 1983

I would say Owen was by far the better athlete overall, meanwhile Brett was better at selling. So you could have a better match with Owen but your career would be better served working with Brett because Brett would make you look like the next big thing.

I legit liked the blue blazer in the 80s when I was a kid

>Bret
>Better promo

How? Bret was a technical marvel but he was dogshit on the mic.

Jeff Hardy was over af and drew big dimes and he's legit one of the WOAT talkers

It's fans like you that pushed him to his death

He's severely underrated in terms of promos. Dude may have not lived up to Hogan or Savage but he was seriously good.

Bret was a pretty good heel promo, even great at times, but yeah, babyface his promos were generic cookie cutter bullshit.

His heel promos half created the Attitude era you dip

what's your problem boy toy

go watch his tantrum "this is bullshit"
he's great

bump to fuck over a waifu thread

Bret and Owen were literally just like Tank Girl and Geena Davis in A League of their Own.

“When my contract is up, I’m out of wrestling. I’ve made plans. I’ve been smart with my fiscal affairs. Financially, I’ll be set. I really want to devote a lot of time to my family. I’ve bought some property on a lake. I plan on doing a lot of boating and fishing. I want to continue to stay in shape. And who knows, I might do ten weeks a year in Japan. Something just to motivate me to keep in shape, keep involved a little bit but not have to deal with the politics, the pressures that are so intense right now. I’ve paid my dues for twelve years now. If I continue for five more, that’s seventeen years working at a pretty hard clip. I think that at that point my family, my wife, and kids, have been compromised enough…”

“I would like to kind of just disappear, from wrestling fans and stuff. I don’t want to forget the fans and what they’ve done. They’ve supported me and stuff, but at the same time, I’d like to just … I don’t want to be hanging on like one of these wrestlers who’s sixty years old, saying, ‘Hey, I’m a wrestler.’ Let it go. Make your money out of it and get on. Going out and performing…it’s an art. I’d like fans to remember me as a guy who would go out and entertain them, give them quality matches. Not just the same old garbage every week…”

Because Owen was like them. He just was in it for the money & was a laid back dude. Bret wanted to work on his matches & take it seriously.

Bret took better falls

Extrapolate

Bret is great on the mic when he's just whining because that's how he is in real life as well

vASED

>Blaming children for a mechanical accident killing a guy

How have the AEW cultists not turned on Bret for his "homo"-themed promos on DX?

worked

>Vince was going to push Owen to the moon as the Canadian face of WWF after Bret left
>Shawn Michaels politicked that away
Feels bad
