ah thank you doremi poster desu
to be specific: The Sun lies close to the inner rim of the Milky Way's Orion Arm, in the Local Interstellar Cloud or the Gould Belt, at a distance of 7.5–8.5 kpc (25,000–28,000 light-years) from the Galactic Center.-wikipedia
but there's not that many galaxy there(quite boring imo)
Christian Flores
that's what's interesting about it and scary too
still stellar nurseries are some of the most fascinating things out there, nebula's in general are interesting too
Hunter Anderson
they are indeed interesting (and for each new star born from the previous generation(population) the richer they are in metal)
Camden Evans
yes, i wonder what we will discover next...
once there are more powerful telescopes available we will see so much more
can't wait, desu
Ian Clark
hopefully an even better resolution of a black hole pic and maybe a close up pic of a surface of an exoplanets or neutron star desu
David Mitchell
dubs
many satellites made into one
imagine our civilization creating a dyson spere and integrating telescopes on every bit of the surface all working in tandem
it will be amazing desu
Levi Miller
well probably not dyson sphere but rather a dyson swarm (because a dyson sphere is extremely resource intensive)
Gavin Ward
one comes before the other, but i mean in a great amount of time, imagine what we will be able to see then
still a swarm could see much too
extraplanetary geology and weather is kinda fascinating too
the atmosphere is thick enough and the gravity is low enough on Titan that we as humans could strap wings to our arms and easily take flight
things like that are fun to think about
Landon Foster
"flying on a chilly (−179.5 °C) moon with just a space suits and giant wings"
sounds fun desune but i still prefer to stay home lole
Joseph Watson
earth is so nice
Our planet is one of the best. Imagine having the technology to create your own custom planet detailing every feature and location. We have so far to go
Samuel Smith
welp wake me up when it's 3000 ad

ikr?
so far off...
maybe immortality will be discovered soon and we will be around in a few thousand years
can only hope
Jason Powell
the funny thing is, is that people will still die from immortality(assuming that it only stop aging) whether from suicide or accident (also population will need a better birth control(even if not everyone is immortal))(also it felt kinda weird seeing your relatives look the same age as you but that just me)
Oliver Bell
Quads
Yes, biological immortality is what i meant.
Remaining safe will seem so much more important, and your life will have immeasurable value.
I cannot wait.
Brandon Ramirez
read about the "Great Attractor" it must be massive to be that strong
Gabriel Howard
will their bobs grow during the hibernation
Oliver Moore
i know this is been speculated a lot on /sci/ but what if we put immortality gene from jellyfish and self regenerating organ gene from salamander then are we still trying to end it all? or just have a new memories(but people will miss you) that would mean a new rules/laws and assuming if there's not enough job(but enough food production) will the government force people to breed?
Jaxon Sanchez
There's a Lovecraft story about a nation that accomplished biological immortality, and after several hundreds or thousands of years people grew tired of all pleasures and eventually grew tired of life, and so most of them killed themselves lol
William Bennett
It is speculated to be another universe pulling everything towards it if i remember right, but dark flow is still a mystery
dubs
there are other ways to achieve it without gene splicing, everything we need is in us waiting to be activated or repaired
Reality is different and i can enjoy doing the sane things countless times, so maybe immortality isn't for everyone.
Kevin Carter
were 5 blocks away, too far to walk
Luke Morgan
actually had a fun time reading that (but still it'll take quite a long time ;) (5 billion years) until we collide with another object(andromeda galaxy)) (i wish there's a better explaination as to why the anomaly happens)
Charles Parker
Given the fact that we're simply not meant to persist eternally, I don't think anyone could bear to live forever. You'd just go insane
Robert Lewis
changing the memories maybe another way to solve the issue
Alexander Robinson
we will find out
I would try if the process were safe
Immortality is something i crave, it would be great
Kevin Bell
at least we're heading somewhere evidently also not everyone will get the pill which is why gene manipulation is better
William Robinson
both are better to specific needs
pre natal genetic manipulation would be better for newborns
Gene therapy and other supplemental care would be best for us
the future could have new ways of stopping aging that we can't even imagine too, total machine integration is possible
It would be nice to explore the earth and the stars completely
Brandon Green
you probably took a wrong turn around cygnus
Your fortune: キタ━━━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━━━ !!!!

that's the thing, we should be able to make a treatment that is cost effective over time.
