That story's shit and Omemega himself has done little to reflect it by changing anything about himself. It's force-fed through commentary and results with little happening in the match.

He wrestled more than two, it has been months and several PPV's, nothing has really happened, since when has anyone accepted a wrestling story told this slowly with this little substance, and since when do people whine that others dont enjoy this shit? What were we supposed to enjoy so far? Plain and simple, what? Cody already had the Dustin story kick off, Spears, Tully, Arn, Darby Anus's introduction, now the Jericho storyline, Omega so far is 'omg did he leave his wrestling heart in Japan?' give us a break. And all he did since leaving is wrestle a Japanese guy, wrestle a guy who wrestles in Japan, and wrestle a rematch with a guy he wrestled in Japan. WTF changed? OMG he's not actually in Japan for the matches so he can't win? There is nothing to enjoy yet after months, and the payoff wont be enjoyable either. You can pretend all you want 'nobody gets it' but the reality is that everybody gets it and nobody enjoys it because it sucks.

Omega has always shined in the ring, his promos are cringe and his mannerisms are goofy. His personality is tolerable in short bursts and especially behind a language barrier given a spotlight it becomes tiresome.

I’m not suggesting he was roiding in Japan but he has loss mass and definition since leaving. A bigger issue is that he took a lot of time off and barely wrestles more than once a month now. Wrestlers need to be constantly working and bumping to stay in “ring condition.” Ring rust + apprehension after minor injuries has retarded his abilities.

If you’re not at the top of the card, constantly getting the focus your star power will diminish. When you don’t get long matches and title reigns there is little to keep the buzz going.

Both from the fans and from Omega himself. He’s clearly less interested in wrestling now that he’s been at the top and he’s wrestling in front of an audience that he never gave his priorities to. If he wanted to be a U.S. he never would have left for Japan in the first place. Omega is a weeb, he liked wrestling for Japanese audiences.

It takes two to tango and there are far fewer talents for him to bolster his catalog of matches with. Also, you need people that will sacrifice their egos to make you look good and the American indie scene is packed with prima donnas.
