If you want to discuss politics, go to /pol/. Philosophical discussion can go on either [s4s], Yea Forums or /his/, but those discussions of philosophy that take place on [s4s] should be based around specific works of art or memetic material to which posters can refer.
Check the wiki, the catalog, and the archive before posting, and please refrain from starting new threads for questions that can be answered by a search engine.
[s4s] is a slow board! Please take the time to read what others have written, and try to make thoughtful, well-written posts of your own. Bump replies are not necessary, but checking digits is.

The problem is, Anonymous, that you probably aren't seeing all the posts. If you are just viewing [s4s] through the Yea Forums board, you don't see the green posts, the posts with letters in their ids, or anything numberless. Together, those make up about 40-70 percent of [s4s], depending on the day. So conversation will appear disjointed and spastic, because you won't be getting the full picture.
I actually just flipped over to the Yea Forums interface to make this post, and it's pretty funny how unintelligible [s4s] is like this.
