Oh no no no no

> As far as business goes, the [All Out] PPV, updated, is going to fall a little under what Double or Nothing did. What’s notable is the U.S. was down overall and somewhat significantly, while the U.K. was up, and outside the U.S./U.K. was down

> It may also be the U.S. was only down due to first week of college football, but the drop in cable/sat was far more than one would think.

>The long run, there is still the question of if the WWE Network and its pricing putting the $9.99 value on WrestleMania and Rumble will make it hard to get people to spend $50 on quarterly PPV shows.

> If the promotion ends up being bad, TNT won’t help.

>They put tickets on sale for both the 11/6 show in Charlotte and the 11/9 show in Baltimore on 9/6. Charlotte had 2,500 tickets sold in the first hour and Baltimore had 4,500, so they were off to decent starts, but it’s no longer instant sellouts, even for PPVs.

>They’ve been opening up more sections as they are doing the WWE pattern of selling in front of the camera first and those tickets are all sold.

>There are about 920 tickets on Stubhub, which is lower than usual, with a $30 price to get in, so the demand is nothing special.

>Charlotte has a $48 get in price, but DC at $6.12 and Philadelphia at $11 are not having a secondary market demand. The other show have normal demand. Charlotte probably won’t end up near what WWE will do in the same market (different building) for Clash this weekend.

>Baltimore is also the second time in five weeks for AEW in the same market with 10/2 in DC, which will end up at about 14,000, and WWE was just in the same arena in Baltimore last week

> Cody came under fire from Outsports regarding the “puto” chant he was involved with at TripleMania. It wouldn’t have been an issue most likely except AEW put it on this past week’s Road To show. Puto is a derogatory chant that has been part of Mexican and Mexican American sports forever.

>For those asking about live events in Southern California with so much on the East Coast, we’re told there definitely won’t be a show in 2019

> There’s still nothing new on Canadian television.

>Right now the plan is for NXT Takeovers not to be the same weekend as the big shows and WWE has said that the new Takeover schedule will be out soon. It will be interesting to see if Vince puts the Takeover shows on the network to go head-to-head with AEW PPVs, that come with a $50 price tag.

>AEW ticket market is crumbled already. Go to Stubhub and look at how many sub $10-20 tickets are available for DC and Philly. Bear market despite wrestling’s “#1 journalist” playing full-time hype man.

It's over. AEW is finished, hotdog-drones will somehow find a way to damage control this.

How much did Wrestle Kingdom and Dominion, which is infinitely a better show than WM and Rumble, on NJPWorld cost?
>Meltzer definitely are not trying to make AEW and WWE, an us vs them mentality...

wow you sound 100% stupid

care to extrapolate, Bryan?

huh? wut u mean

AEWtists desperately attempting to ignore this thread despite their insatiable need to defend their promotion so that the thread gets pushed down and archived faster LMAO

This is half the reason I don't watch AEW PPVs yet. It's hard to spend 50 bucks on a show that has 2 to 3 matches on the card I care about.

When weekly tv starts I'll probably be more invested in the other matches, and maybe I'll start buying in.

B-But le bubbleh. But I thought Fatman Page, Jeriboomer and Kenny Dykstra were draws in the US market?! How could this be happening.

I'd never spend money on a show promoting tranny and faggot shit. Drop the social justice shit and the Bucks, and maybe I'll pay up.

I'm going to kill myself if AEW fails. It's literally the only good thing left in my life. All my other heroes have failed me and let me down. Not Cody. Not Omega. Not Jericho.

>Vince is going to put Takeovers against AEW $50 PPVs

AEW is DOA

Attached: dimes.gif (470x492, 458K)

this is so fucking retarded that people think they were going too sellout every single show until the end of time. are you people fucking retrded? and the sales being slightly slower than DON isn't that bad of a fucking issue. their ppvs still do extraordinary well, they were able to stay around DON numbers after losing the biggest match and hypes match on the card....
people are fucking retarded sorry

for Meltzer going from 120k buys to a 100k buys is what he calls "significant drop", listen to the actual show, dude's is an autist

How is it "AEW is finished" just because it wasn't a day-1 sellout? MOST wrestling shows of any promotion are not day-1 sellouts, AEWs first few shows were the exception, not the rule.

It is significant enough plus as he said too the numbers not only down but skewed further to the UK which also means less revenue.

Attached: cope.jpg (560x505, 173K)

If you know how to maths, you'll figure out that it's close to a 20% drop and it's their 2nd PPV, with a match to crown the first AEW champ, a first time ever PAC vs Omega and the hottest story line in wrestling, cody vs spears.

going from 120K buys to 100K buys isn't significant since they still beat every non wwe ppt since wcw..;they did this with their biggest match of the night ( DON literally ended with a Moxley vs omega segment ) off the card...
as for the shows people expecting them to still sellout forever is a retard. meltzer is just twisting this shit to push his "war" agenda because he thinks that will create buzz and make him money..

>they still beat every non wwe ppt since wcw

what the fuck is wrong you with you aewtists

>Nielsen has announced that ratings will be changing next year and they will be measuring viewing outside the home, in places like bars, airports and offices as well as other areas.

> Nielsen has been testing out doing ratings of out-of-home viewing and has found that sports events in particular, with sports bars, will increase an average of 11 percent with the added viewership. As a general rule, news shows, often watched in airports and offices, would increase on average about seven percent. For example, this past Super Bowl in February would go from 101 million viewers to 113 million under the new system.

WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP IT?

CNN GONNA SKYROCKET

Kek

bump

I'm becoming more and more convinced AEW absolutely needs NJPW if they want a shot at competing with WWE's 3rd show.

Photo means faggot or something like that right? Why aren't the sjws and trannies getting mad at AEW for letting Penta say it every five minutes?
