i always go untimed (10min+) but i always make sure that ido minimal correcting and to never spend too much time on one pose

sinc elike my philosophy is quantity over quality

some major art youtubers say you should practice doing timed sessions like five 10s poses -> five 30s poses -> five 1min pose etc.

but idk if that actually really teaches u anything, imo its better to make sure ur drawing actually looks like the picture + its halfway decent before moving onto the next one

i have two monitors so i dont have 2 switch back & forth it is very nice especially when using any sort of reference

as for paper/traditional art it always throws me off a bit because its a different set of muscle memory for me, since like i use a wacom tablet most of the time. its definitely important to not neglect ur traditional art drawings too much though so i always try it for maybe 0.5 hour a day

i dont really think traditional art is necessarily superior to digital art for learning art or vica versa but me, i focus on digital art cuz like thats what 99% of demand is for on the internet
