Almost, but the "box" at the bottom of the first kanji isn't actually a box. It's 2 strokes: a horizontal line dropping down into a "hook" at the end, and then a straight line down from the horizontal line closer to the left.
Also the way to draw the box in the second kanji to make the lines not stick out, is to draw the left vertical line first, then draw the top horizontal line and the right vertical line in one stroke, and lastly the bottom horizontal line.
yes i fixed it now i believe
The "hook" doesn't really contain a horizontal line going left at the end, it really is just a hook...
i'm not japanese but shouldn't the kanji symbol for hook actually look like a hook? otherwise the hook would become a metaphor for something... else....
Like that looks more like a construction crane
and construction cranes are usually red, aren't they?
ergo, you are writing in a chinese dialect, because it harkens to violence
no, yellow actually.
don't be racist
i did it with just a little bit of style
"I'm not japanese"
opinion discarded
This type of thing was very important to my Grandfather, who recognized Sovio-Chinese imperalism when his family in Ukraine in the 1980s couldn't understand the words commonly spoken in his village as a child in the 1920s-30s
The top character is written with 5 strokes btw.
令 but it look so different
It's the handwritten/simplified/shinjitai(?) variant. That happens from time to time lole. Still, the script form is also written with 5 strokes as well.
all Kanji charaqcters should be drawn with 5 strokes, to symbolize the 5 winds
Unless you have more winds than that?
I did your mom in 5 strokes.
Good luck drawing that amateur
