Never to old, skate or die
I don't know what else to put here
Just put together my first setup in like 10 years. Looking forward to getting back into it. Want to learn how to skate bowls this year.
fucking based pic lol. i thought that was saber for a sec.
this is pretty deep as far as esg goes, but fuckit ima say it anyways. I've always been a hella extroverted person, but when i started skating again I finally became okay with spending time by myself. I'm kinda old for this sort of edgy epiphany, but honestly it's really liberating to be able to just kick it by myself and not feel like i should have friends around 24/7. fucking skate on, i love yall. also link the discord pls, i accidentally left months ago and can't find a link
sidenote: tssf's proper dose is a fantastic album
for fucks sake, why did they have to move manchild wrestling shit onto Yea Forums?
I've got plenty more my friend.
....and I'm spent.
Because I contributed, can anyone
>all this cringe anime shit
>not a single post of HOOKUPS BY JEREMY KLEIN
cringe
.... give me some pointers on shredding bowls?
>tfw no skater maid gf
why even live bros
Sad
What board would you want tony to give you, if you happened to be the lucky guy to trade him THPS1?
SO HERE I AM
Pretty sure buddy had no choice what board the birdman gave him.
But honestly if I had a choice I probably wouldn't pick a hawk model and would probably ask for pic related.
>inb4 steeeeeveeee berraaaaaa?
He was pretty based back when I was a youngin'
Any one here ever skated below 90a wheels?
I am about to get back into skating. The streets where I live can be really coarse though. I'm looking at Ricta clouds 86a
Only when playing on my mates long board, they were like 80a I think. And huge. Ain't no stones stopping ya!
Dunno what it would be like on a normal street deck, but I've wanted to pick up some slimeballs for cruising about
I've got some ricta clouds 78a, 56mm of couse, only because the roads and footpaths around where I live are complete shit.
Never give up!
god that is one ugly chink.
Never stop trying.
Just give up
I don't watch LetÃcia Bufoni so I don't care
Beginner tip: Hit your head with skateboard
Ahh, the rare double-mall-grab
Nice.
fuck you she's cute
way uglier chinks out there
Ghetto Blaster
Chotto matte
Someone mail me a skateboard
ok
my first real board. what do you guys think? I've only been skating for about a year using my older brothers old board.
trucks are independent stage 11, bearings are bones reds, wheels are ricta clouds 78a 56mm for shitty roads and paths around where I live, spitfire f4 99a 56mm for parks.
I dig it. I just bought some 56mm Slimeballs for my shit concrete yesterday.
frontside noseblunt stall
Have you guys tried bearings worth more than $20? Is it worth it
would putting a piece of ductape on the side of shoe make it easier to ollie
no.
>Konnichi wa... what can I get you?
the bearings on my cruiser are bones super swiss 6 that i got on sale for ~$34, normally $60
my regular setup has hard luck 6 ball bearings that were also on sale for ~15. they're usually $20
they appear to be holding up better than the swiss, considering it gets more use
yes, do you have wax? what kind of wax do you recommend?
I want to buy Consolidated Skateboards please because I support legit skateshops
Do you have any Hook-Ups by Jeremy Klein?
What fucking show is this again? God the name escapes me...
Yes, i have tried $20+ bearings. 2 sets of Bronson G3's in this case.
>were they faster?
No, not really.
>did they glide/roll further?
Yes, slightly. After they broke in.
>did they last?
Not any longer than my cheap set, no. Maybe less.
You usually get further roll with better bearings and thats it. Its nice while it lasts but it never lasts long and then they're just like regular bearings. So why pay extra when you can keep your roll smooth through replacing cheap sets more often for the same price as buying one set of more expensive bearings.
people might shit on you for having two separate sets of wheels for different purposes but fuck those people, my streets are super shitty and I know the struggle. I have a very similar setup.
78a fucking fun for cruising around. I wanna try 80hds some day, also interested in 90-99 wheels how they do but for now sticking to formula fours on my popsicle
I have 80hds and I want to make sweet sweaty love to them
Rolling further is what I mostly want but maybe it has more to do with having bigger and softer wheels
the surface of the ground/wheel hardness combination has an infinitely higher impact on how long you will roll. bearings aren't even worth mentioning in that equation.
Don't, Birdo is a Zionist bitch
This please
jacob two-two
Fuck, eh. Blast from the past.
>more to do with having bigger and softer wheels
Bingo. 56mm 90somthinA softies would give you way more roll vs smaller hardwheels with expensive bearings. Plus nicer wheels will last longer than expensive bearing.

>Ugly Mobbed KickFlip
>6.7/10 Chick
My local shop (WindWheelsWaves) closed down last summer, Vans and Zumies is all I got.
I can ollie on an over stuff but grinds sketch me out to much it learn, but theyre what I got into the sport for :\
You have to start on curb height ledges, lad. Jumping into actual sized ledges is a bit of a mental barrier.
for a second I thought this was t h i c c daewon doing transition.
>10/10 charisma
I just started skating and this happened to me like on the fourth day. Haven't been able to skate for weeks.
Good job user.
Those wheels are great for cruising and skating unless your roads are absolutely fucked. Doing slides and grinds without wax can be hard imo but possible.
t. Skates Michigan roads
Tried some Bronson's and the shields bent inwards making it so I couldn't skate with them I'm so I popped them and gave em to a bud since I don't like skating shieldless. He likes them
Go faster
*Couldn't skate with them in
Cool
Short candle sticks. Sometimes sold as "emergency" candles. Shabbat (Jewish) candles might even be cheaper in bulk or easier to find in a store, depending on where you are buying. plus I think they're blessed or somthing so they might give you a +2 to ceremonial slappy grinds, unless you're a /pol/tard.
Scented candles are better. Then you can pretend you're gentrifying the neighbourhood
What is /esg/'s sponsor of choice?
TechDeck
>supporting Jews
No thanks Jeremy
Your mom
yeah, no.
better stick to your make-up and girl talk, sweetie.
>better stick to your make-up and girl talk, sweetie.
Based
girls are the biggest posers out there.
instead of skating to learn and work towards mastering their skills, to feel the excitement and satisfaction of landing a difficult trick and just the pure thrill of skating, they do it mainly for attention.
Not true, japanese females are different. Here is the legendary 50-50 grind from Kotone Nishimura
Bump in the night
true.
Thank you.
>10 days without skating because life happened
>lost my ollies for sure but determined to get it all back and then before the cold sets in
>roll to my usual quiet spot and find it completely chock-full of hesh kids
>too embarrassed to skate
>skate anyway
I can't say I really enjoyed it though.
it's not always gonna be enjoyable
gj skating anyways
Thanks. In good news though, I haven't lost my ollies at all.
How the fuck do you Nosestall Revert?! I was trying for quite a while yesterday and couldn't even commit to a decent attempt, I kept pussying out or my board shoots from under me upon reentry. The rotation doesn't even make sense to me, but whenever I see someone do a proper one it looks easy as fuck.
I don't scrape on my Nosegrinds anymore, so that's cool.
Hell yeah brother, love the wheels
Why have graphics if they're just going to get shredded?
fresh grip is the worst
depends on which part is giving you trouble. maybe start by just getting really comfortable going up the wall to fakie revert. if you have a steep bank you can practice on that'd probably be good too.
I've never tried Tailstall Reverts but yeah I guess I should start there since it is comfier. My main problem is I can't get the revert. I can BS/FS Rock and Roll and Tail/Nosestall with ease but for whatever reason I am a hapless oaf when it comes to reverting.
how soft are your wheels?
101a
Basado
those should slide pretty good. it sounds like you just need to get more confident going sideways on a slope. you could try to just practice doing powerslides across the transition so you get used to the feeling of going into that booger slide kinda position and then pushing through it.
Nosestall
Face switch, look down the transition and behind you
Slip off the coping while pivoting
I've found that where I focus on looking will impact my pivot/revert. Think of it more like a pivot than revert. Find the smallest QPipe and keep trying. Once you get it nose reverts become second nature.
Thanks for the pointers fellas i'll keep trying once I get back on the board.
SAVED from early death
And again
Just took a tab boutta go learn blunt to tre in on my mini ramp Bros
I'm just getting "back" into skating (I never got out of the beginner stage)
I have been skating short sessions for a few days now. It has been fun, but I'm really bad.
My ollies are meh, but it's ok
I have a lot of spots where I might do some (easy) tricks spotted though
Tomorrow I'll rest my foot due to rain
Thanks for reading my blog!

>Why yes, I do ride my longboard on mostly flat paths and roads, stopping at every crossing & curb and picking up my board, between work and home. How could you tell?
why are normalfags such bitches?
