I will speak on behalf of our humble teacher. You take offence in how our humble master delivers his message. His, in your opinion, condescending behaviour indicates a problem buried in yourself. Your ego is being damaged because you're not treated with the respect you wish for. If you would truly think that humbleness is a virtue, you would lead by example yourself, not demonstrate the opposite. A humble man would support a true message even if it is delivered in a suboptimal manner.
