Perfect means unable to improve. Discuss
That's absolution, not perfection.
at the level of perrfection a person could possibly achieve they still have 2 be able to improve i nkow this cuz i have the big brain
why would you WANT to improve that which is already perfect? the whole point of improvement is to strive closer to perfection, and if something is already perfect there is no need/desire for improvement

Perfect
This
Absolution is a specific theological term. I refer to the broader philosophical concept.
So perfection is logically impossible because the inability to improve would itself be an imperfection? Interesting...

I hate to be the one to break this to you but the word perfect comes from the Latin word perfectio which means "to finish"
is ability to improve always a desirable trait though? isn't ability to improve only necessary if something is not perfect?
nigger
So the modern definition of the word is easily understandable considering that it was the last thing Jesus said before he died
The word "perfect" literally means "it is finished"
after all, a car is only useful if you're not at your destination already
once you're there it doesn't matter if you have a car or not
It does if you're being chased by the police
I think the reason I like talking to you so much is because you have so much interesting information to offer in conversation :^))

If i am a perfect construct and i wish to become more than i am and therefore improve i would merely have to copy myself thereby expanding my range and capabilities.
It's tge same logic used in defining multiple sets of ∞

So you would say as there is an infinite degree to which one may be improved, perfection is the state of being infinitely improved upon, so any room for improvement would not make it non-perfect. Is this what you are saying?

Parameters were not defined in perfection, so yes. They can be infinitely expanded upon, however improvement is an environmental referential, meaning improvements as they are loosely defined are going to be based on a task and a setting. So there will be a point of diminishing returns *if this were to take place in reality.

Would one then conclude that perfection in the material world be impossible due to the finiteness of physics, or more knowably our inability to access infinity even if the universe turned out to be infinite?

It makes my heart glad to hear you think of me this way... ~blissful dreams~ :')
Possibly, in a physical sense. Pure numbers are a different case. 1 and and all integers are examples of definitional perfection, and are greater when multiplied. This is what I was referencing in my earlier example.
Due to entropy and interaction with the world around it a perfect physical object would be impossible without instructional inputs sustaining it as such. It is beyond our current technological abilities at the moment as far as I am aware.
Going to try and sleep now. I enjoyed this chat, thank you.
You're welcome, somebody. Likewise, this was entertaining to say the least. ~blissful dreams~
