I only watched Doremi back when it was a 4kids show

I showed this to an Italian friend, and and he said it's grammatically perfect, old fashioned Italian. Kinda surprising given Nippon's habit of molesting foreign languages and not giving shits about it.
I guess it's further proof of the superior quality of this episode.

yea it makes sense and all that people recommend this ep since even if u think doremi is 4kids nobody can deny how mature this ep is.. the level of thought put into it is bury clear. visually and in the writing. and ob course its a strong standalone.. but because it gets recommended as a standalone so often i think people underrate or just forget how well it fits into the overall narrative and sets up this last arc of teh series. how it jumpstarts doremi's character development coming to a head in the finale. and how it establishes stakes and moral grey area for the big climactic choice that all the characters soon have to face of becoming a witch. ofc its a gr8 standalone episode but the context is what makes it perfect

It's honestly quite mundane. The majority of it is just a very, very slow buildup and the "climax" is one of the most overused story tropes in history. Maybe this really does have some big effect on or in relation to the rest of the show but man, just seeing this episode, it's like a joke. Just a waste of a half hour
