Finger Poke of Doom

Jericho spilling coffee on Kane backstage

>triple h
>hook

Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior. Beyond epic and legit hard to decide who to root for. I went with the Warrior though because the idea of a guy holding two belts was base as fuck

Sunny and the Smoking Guns I wanted to fuck her

The Kane and Xpac angle tag team

i feel like i saw rhyno gore jericho, but i was really young like 3-5 so i'm not 100% sure. but i know for a fact i saw that original stage at an early age and it was the first time i saw wrestling

My brother buying WCW trading cards from toys r us

>i feel like i saw rhyno gore jericho
holy fuck
that was the LAST moment I remember of wrestling before I stopped watching
rhyno goring jericho through the smackdown stage

A tag match featuring Khali, Carder and Chuck Palombo

crazy isn't it, the flow of life. That was my first and only encounter with wwe until i moved to the states and started watching 06/07

Smackdown match with Kurt Angle and Rikishi in late 99, think it went like a minute, Steve Blackman was involved.
Heard them mention Monday Night Raw but didn't say when or where so five year old me spent a couple hours watching the TV Guide channel to find out it. Think it was a go home show Raw for Armageddon 99.

I have many memories of desperately trying to find ECW on TV at strange hours on the weekends

Sting in the rafters.

Florida?

nah, northern NJ

Big Show vs. Miz in a slime match during the Kids Choice Awards.

The debut of the radicalz

Hey Edward. How's things?

I don't understand the reference but I'm good

I have random, fleeting memories of watching Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior as a kid, but maybe that doesn't count.

My first real wrestling memory is Stone Cold getting arrested on Raw, laughing as he's being escorted up the ramp in handcuffs.

John Cena vs Booker t on a smackdown

Austin removes the protective cover from outside the ring and piledrivers Kurt Angle (I think it was him) into the cement. Not the first time I watched wrestling, but it's the most vivid memory for sure. Was pretty shocking as a kid.

Goldberg spearing Lodi at one of the spring break Nitros. I was hooked instantly

Kane shooting fireballs instantly made him my favorite

Doink the Clown jobbing to the Duddleys or some dudes in military gear.

it was around the year 2000 and i was just a small fry flipping through the channels on this old turn dial TV i had in my bedroom, i was watching "kids say the darnedest things" with bill cosby as the host. i grew disinterested and flipped the station, and i saw an episode of Raw i think, and stone cold drove something down the ramp towards the ring and began to spray something, I'm not sure if it was the beer truck or the milk one, but i remember thinking to myself how much more entertaining this was compared to bill cosby. Then my dad came into my room and told me i couldn't watch rassling since i was still a lad. (which in hindsight i guess watching a serial rapist host a television show wasn't the lesser of the two evils)

it was the lesser because no one knew

>when Lawler called Kane a "Big Red Retard"

Attached: 5bf.jpg (480x318, 17K)

Heh. I was 8 when I saw this on prime time. Jake pantsed the hell outta Rude over hitting on Jake's "wife".

Didn't Steamboat get legit knocked the fuck out?

Nigga wanted to animal rape Elizabeth.

my step dads brothers would always come over and watch nitro during the monday nights wars and I remember seeing Goldberg for the first time during the streak and after he squashed whoever the fuck was jobbing to him that night I was hooked. I was forbidden to watch wrestling though so that made the appeal that much stronger.

Watching WCW Wrestling Fayetteville at my Uncle's shitty apartment. Ric Flair vs Ricky the Dragon Steamboat. Probably 1993ish, I was barely five. Rinky dink little appartment, they were probably doing drugs in the back.

Stone Cold Steve Austin hitting Vince Mcmahon with a bedpan in the hospital, after Undertaker and Kane had broken his leg. I was but a wee lass back then, but I remember my dad watching RAW all the time and being excited as fuck over that particular segment. Now I look back on the few fond memories of my childhood while watching re-runs of RAW from the late 90's, fully understanding it now. (Also realising that as a child, I was wrong to ever think The Rock was better than The Undertaker.)

My brothers had a little black tent with ultimate warrior on it, maybe undertaker, can't quite remember.

Watching Wrestlemania 2000 with my cousin and thinking it was the greatest thing ever. Not gonna lie, it holds up pretty well.

That time I was in the locker room getting my ass pounded

All I want is ass pounding can you help?

Honestly the first memory I have of wrestling, I was like 4 or 5. Kane was about to talk for the first time and as it was, I was scared shitless of him.
My dad would make fun of me and tell me Kane was going to talk a lot afterwards. Any time Kane spoke into a mic in 1998/1999 I had to leave the room.

Yes. He was out cold. When Jake picked him up to throw him in the ring, you can tell he's dead weight. Jake warned WWF officials that the spot was dangerous beforehand but they didn't listen. He was out of action for months which gave Jake tremendous heat.

oh look another sad pathetic trip shit posting deserately crying out for attention cuz his moomy and duhdy dont love him. future suicide for sure

@3:24 Steamboat is completely knocked out.

My mom caught me watching an episode of Raw and Triple H was really bloody and being helped backstage. Can't remember what episode it was.

John Cena open challenge

Smackdown 2 on the PS1
I can't remember exactly when I started actually watching wrestling but WM20 was the first PPV I watched

HBK vs Taker, Bad Blood '97

watching it on a scrambled feed on TV

being a Hispanic I grew up watching lucha because of my dad, then I naturally moved on to American wrestling.

lucha: I remember my dad used to tape shows all the time. I popped in a tape one day and started watching a random match. It had a legitimate sport feel to it so I actually got bored after a few minutes and shut it off.

American: I remember I was channel surfing one day, must've been 95-96 and I landed on a WWF show. I saw Jake the Snake walking with his iconic sack and crushed a jobber in less than a minute. I was actually upset that the match didn't last longer because Jake had me absolutely enthralled.

HBKs entrance in the early 90s

did you get an erection?

Sting vs Vader

I wished I watched wrestling when I was a kid, my first memory was in 2015.

how the fuck did you become a fan? Like I'm glad you're here don't get me wrong. But what?

A really fuzzy memory of the NWO attacking Austin sometime in early 2002, but I fully remember Taker vs Hardy ladder match that also happened later that year.

The first match I saw was a local show (GCW). I was invited by my old coworker who wrestles under the name KTB. He and someone else was in a tag match against the Steiner Brothers. Shortly after I lost my job and needed something to do on Monday nights while looking for work, so I tuned into Raw. And saw John Cena take on Cesaro.

Very cool. It definitely felt so much larger than life and wild when seen as a kid. I honestly dont know if I would have been able to get beyond the bad stereotype if I hadn't been a fan from the start.

Watching wccw at my grandparents house. I specifically remember a hair vs hair match with the Von Erichs and Chris Adams and Gino Hernandez.

Undertaker putting a jobber in a body bag.

Eddie v Kurt 2 of 3 falls

Johnny B Badd and his confetti canon.

Trisha Stratus vs Victoria, when I was flipping through right about 2004. Next time I came across it was Mick Foley’s promo when he joined TNA.

No because not gay however I did think he was cool as fuck.

I remember seeing a Rock promo on tv around 2001. My mom didn't let me watch wrestling until 2004 when I watched the Royal Rumble. I thought Hardcore Holly was a legitimate threat, that Triple H and Shawn Michaels shoot killed each other, and that Chris Benoit was based as fuck. I was a Benoit mark from day one.

The attitude era was relevant in my house at some capacity. I remember my dad being a little interested in it and he gave me various action figures, most notably ones of Austin and Booker T. The oldest match I can remember though is a normal Raw/Smack match with Cena vs Umaga, maybe 06/07.

watchin pre-nwo wcw with my mom and playing with my wcw action figures. my mom was a sting mark back in the day and still has some cool vintage sting merch

I guess I should say that since this past WM I have not watched wrestling.

Tajiri bouncing around the ring while I was in high school and my friend and I thinking it was pretty cool.

Then we started watching every week.

my sphincter is ready daddy

Paul bearer promo with undertaker in the background but he’s wearing the mankind mask. 91-93 I’d say.

Miz winning the WWE title, specially the spot in which he slams Orton's leg agaist the pole. In retrospective, I wonder how the fuck that made me a fan.

Batista vs Simon Dean. I was trying to find arm wrestling on youtube, ended up with that. Knew it was fake when Batista did his shoulder barges.

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 19K)

>undertaker
>mankind mask
>91-93
Retard.

when I was young my friend got a PlayStation and we played Royal Rumbles. later he got a PS2 and we watched the diva's titantrons. got in trouble once with one of our mum's because we just kept replaying one of them's (don't remember whose) videos where she bent over in a thong.
my first memory of actual wrestling was 2009-2010ish and Randy Orton coming out on Raw and cutting a promo. even as a little jimmy I was like "what the fuck this shit is terrible". don't really know why I stayed a fan after that.

The Dudleys stomping on someone's skull or something like that.

Big E getting curb stomped on a Martin Luther King Day episode of Raw a few years ago. I thought it was amazing how WWE got away with something so racist and have been loving them ever since

I know I must have earlier memories and I recall watching wrestling with my Grandpa as a little little kid and hearing him talk about guys like the Crusher and Dick the Bruiser. I remember watching GLOW and liking the pretty girls as much as anyone else but my first clear memory of watching was getting to stay up on Saturday Night to watch the Main Event and seeing the Mega-Powers break up. It was disappointing because I thought Macho and Elizabeth were were regal representing the company and that Hulk being their friend even if he wasent champ was awesome. It was like Superman teaming up with Spiderman in my 7 year old mind

...

D Generation X around the time of their return in 2002

All things wrestling related was playing War Zone and the WCW 2000 games on N64 with my stepdad back around 2004-5. First time watching wrestling was watching the SES come out on an episode of smack down on an old tiny box tv in my grandmas computer room back in 2009 maybe.

My pajeet friends showing me a video tape featuring a tag team match with the Road Warriors.
I don't remember who their opponents were, I just remember being frustrated that one of the wrestlers kept getting beat and having to tag out and never got to make a comeback.

Your first memory was a PPV? How does that happen? Older brother?

that was the best wrestling summer ever

I remember watching a clip of Macho Man and Elizabeth’s wedding where they’re opening presents and in one of the boxes there’s a snake and they both freak out. Then Jake Roberts comes out to laugh at them and all I can think to myself is “Why did Jake have to come out? I mean who else would have left a snake in their box? I’m sure they’d have figured it out on their own that he did it.”

Lex Luger crashing the first episode of Nitro.

I was gathered with a load of friends when I was a kid, and one of them had the Royal Rumble 1999 on a tape. When he put it on, everyone else was mercilessly making fun of how fake it all looked... then Foley got his head bashed in with a chair and suddenly the room went silent. I was hooked at that moment.
