You guys may remember me. Many months ago, I came on here to grace you all with the best thread of all time. And you know what? Maybe that was true at the time, but I've done better since then. It was a mere test run- a proof of concept, a publicity stunt. I've spent the past several months refining it and can now proudly present to my fellow internet users the peak of humanity.

A thread isn't about the OP itself, user. But if you must know, I did some fine tuning under the hood over the past several months to get the atmosphere of my initial post just right. Furthermore, my picture including a pack of trident brand gum and an onion was simply too good to be passed up by another thread. These two things together provided the perfect environment for the best thread of all time- a catalyst of sorts, or perhaps a fetus who as we can see has long since grown into a young man.
Do we even need more evidence that this is the best thread ever? This is incredible. I'm going to try and put this on a fridge in NYC so a lot of people can see it.

I want to say "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" but in if I am to be honest, I think a more truthful quote is "sadder still to watch it die than never to have known it." Goodness, how mundane the average day must seem when you've caught a glimpse of something more. However, we shouldn't let that keep us down, user!
