I am 24 and still live with my parents, but I work in construction with my dad and uncle who run a small brick masonry business. My parents don't charge me anything, although I buy most of the groceries, help pay the bills, help finance repairs to the house, wash the dishes/do most of the other household chores, and I am a decent cook, or so they tell me anyway.
This is the true way to live life, truly badass.
I had my mom move in with me after she broke her hip. She has trouble getting around now and she is basically a free baby-sitter now. The house we moved into is big anyway and we really didn't have anything else to do with the room she is in now anyway.

I have never been in a relationship in my entire life. Various personal problems including social anxiety held me back. I am now somewhat thankful for it, though. I have sat back and watched friends and relatives who are around the same age as myself and even younger completely destroy their lives. One of my cousins married a hispanic guy, and had a kid with him, then the guy ditched her for another somebody else, then she went with several other guys, ended up with another kid and a meth addiction. A good childhood friend of mine got into a quite violent relationship with a younger woman who cheated on him and caused him to fall into a drunken depression, etc. I have seen this shit enough to know I want no fucking part of it, unless I can find someone in the future who is truly badass and wholesome. Seems unrealistic in this day and age, though.
