That's certainly true and respectable. But the statistics only make a descriptive statement about the demographic as a whole. It's no decent metric to judge individual people in an informal context without knowing them personally first. That goes for pretty much any demographic, not just nonwhites.

I'm just saying that there's always a possibility that generally one may be wrong and that the humility to set your beliefs aside to test them for integrity is an important character trait to maintain. Still, I've lived close enough to some of the poorest black folk out there in the most dangerous neighborhoods you'll come by. There's a lot of context and real additudes black folk have on these issues often missing from this sorta stuff, but just assuming that sorta stuff will set me in the wrong on something eventually.
