I don't know if it will change as I've recognized what I think causes the paranoia and it doesn't stop. Family and surroundings both had a horrible impact on me so I learned not to trust anything instinctively, so I start preparing for the worst when nothing is there. Though I was never physically abused for the most part so I'm sorry you had to go through that! Hope we can both recover I guess!
