the military will be largely robotic in the future. corporations working with governments to create autonomous killing machines
already happening, but this is "progress". phase out humans and replace them with something that doesn't ask questions or have feelings if it kills innocents.

I think there's actually a UN human rights rule about having autonomous war robots but you're right about it being a lot easier to kill people with alternate methods!

theres no way to tell, but certailly is "painful" living through it. the conflicts put increasing threats on us daily, some nuclear materials and wapons have gone missing too, there's AI too, some want to put it in control of our governance, of course the ones maintaining and programming the machines will actually be in control if that happens, scary times

The world isn’t made in shades of black and white fren. There are things that will shape the world that no one will notice until big things happen. Even large groups of people who think all dae will not be able to predict the future, let alone you. Plus if we do have robot overlords i liek to think it will be like the culture novels wif robods dedicated to making humanity happe in a communist uptopia! Though there are hints in the books that make one think that the AI are shady and manipulative yet intelligent to the point where no empire can face up to them, tge most important things is they our frens! Plus when thinking of ai everyone likes to think of some omniscient god, mayb ai is too dumb to turn the entire world into a paperclip factory anyway.
