that's because 255 is the highest alt code, as alt codes just map the "Latin-1 Supplement" characters (mostly accents and some symbols) to some ALT combination
therefore 314 is impossible, and it's all sorted by complete bogus

if you want to type any others, you'll want to get some composer application that allows you to enter unicode code points on demand, but idk what apps would do that (i made one myself, but it's not ready for release)
