So. What happens when AEW tanks in the ratings and is cancelled by December?
People like Omega, the Bucks, and Cody has completely burned their bridges. They'll forever be known as traitors.
The Best Friends will never go to New Japan again, because they lied to Gedo and ran to a competitor when they said they'd sign a new contract.
Jericho's legacy will be permanently tainted, when he gave up great money and a prominent spot in WWE to try and destroy them from the outside. He'll never be welcome back.
WWE saved Ambrose from a life of barbed wire and flaming tables, and made him a world champion, giving him every opportunity under the sun. Yet, he abandons them and makes sure to bury them on the way out.
The entire AEW roster will be seen as disloyal turncoats for the rest of their lives. For what? A vanity money mark fed that lasts two months?
AEW/New Japan not working together is a work. They will do an invasion angle at some point.
Jonathan Mitchell
>Jericho's legacy will be permanently tainted This simply isn't true. Chris Jericho is an established star who could go literally anywhere. As long as he doesn't lower himself to nuTNA, we're good.
Hunter Jones
Cope tranny
Thomas Turner
Keep dreaming
Kayden King
Even if things went completely south WWE would still do anything to hire them.
Christopher Perez
Jericringe doesn't have a legacy. He was never a top guy, never drew a dime, and his daughters have diabetes.
>when he gave up great money and a prominent spot in WWE to try and destroy them from the outside. He'll never be welcome back.
How fucking new are you? Making money mends all wounds within Vince. Look at all of WCW guys that got to come back. Hogan testified against him in court and almost put him out of business. Vince still let him go comeback.
Cameron Morales
If AEW fails and they go to WWE there is a logical big money invasion angle that would incite genuine fan emotion.
It would be impossible to fuck up.
Ryan Lopez
>it would be impossible to fuck up
Julian Walker
Thing is Vince will die soon. Haitch buries many things but hatchets ain't one of them. Jericuck is NEVER going to be welcomed back to the only fed that matters.
Juan Adams
Triple H is actually more forgiving and is the reason why bruno samartino came back to get inducted into the hof, Stephanie on the other hand might be a cunt
Elijah Scott
WRONG! The whole Bruno thing was on his end. Vince was living in his cringe Italian head rent free while Vince never even thought about him.
When Vince dies, WWE dies with him. There are more chances of AEW becoming profitable than Gaytch saving the company
Cameron Bell
Why are you so nervous, E drone?
Austin Kelly
I'm 100% sure Vince would rather burn WWE to the ground than let his kids or Hunter take it over when he gets too weak. He's just that narcissistic.
Hudson Brooks
Vince doesn't need to do anything. Gaytch has been killing the company for almost 20 years.
William Nelson
What happens if it doesn't fail? Will you continue to seethe and move the goal posts?
Nathaniel Garcia
I've never moved a single goalpost, because AEW hasn't accomplished ANYTHING yet.
Gabriel Reyes
When this happens inevitably, there will be an overflow of talent trying to break in to Japan, and either NOAH or AJ will catch NJ's overflow and it will level them up again and help them gain exposure.
Xavier Gomez
Nervous? Try logical.
Ultimately its about MAKING money and the Sugar Daddy Khan will be looking at the numbers, comparing them with WWE and ask the simple question.
"Why are we not making money like they are?"
And this is where Daddy starts to get involved and gives one of his advisors the responsibility to make changes to increase profits. He'll look at WWE and see Bork, Roman, Orton...etc...
"Hey *chuckles in paki* 'VP' cody and cucks *pakistani chuckling intensifies* who do we have like these guys?"
Cody visualises a camera charging at him as he falls over from the shock, the bucks meanwhile try superkicking the air but the kicks much like their matches cant come up with the goods.
Brandi swings on over, grunts into codys ear whilst picking at his hair mistakenly the roots for bugs her opinion. On cue another person swings in...
"Mr advisor... Introducing... JUNGLE BOY".
Meanwhile Tony's other sporting ventures have either been relegated or failing again...
Brandon Bennett
>So. What happens when AEW tanks in the ratings and is cancelled by December? This is unlikely to happen.
Nathaniel Perez
XFL WILL OUTLIVE AEW
Brody Carter
I am positive vince will live to 100. His fucking mom is still alive
Tony Khan has proven generally to be an understanding and patient owner. In the time frame you're talking about a man like him isn't worried about this question. They know the answer. They have to cultivate their brand and establish themselves for awhile yet before they compete directly.
>cultivate their brand Like Fulham and the Jaguars? Because the only thing cultivated from both ventures are lossess and that he fucks dogs...
Ethan Cooper
It won't.
500k viewers will always tune in, which is their core fanbase.
They'll probably get around 2 Mil additional viewers for their TV Debut out of curiosity.
You usually lose around 20% of the viewers after the 1st episode of a series and an additional 10% after that in the coming episodes, so AEW will always have around 2 Mil viewers in total for their TV Show.
Luis James
Sounds like a lot of new blood for Don Callis in Impact. Owl Gang will never die.
Luke Adams
The same retards that watch wwe twice a week will watch aew so they'll stick around 1.5 million until they get more fans
Austin Garcia
It's pretty much going to be the exact same thing as TNA, maybe a little better, maybe a little worse. TNA actually had a better roster than AEW does. They were formed right when ECW and WCW went under so that really helped them. AEW is Mox/Jericho and a bunch of nobodies. They'll make it a few years before fan support wears thin and TNT cancels them. I can pretty much predict everything that'll happen to the guys
>Ambrose He's only helped his stock by leaving. They're not going to hold it against him when he inevitably comes back. He'll have to eat shit and job a few times, but eventually he'll be one of their maineventers again and they'll probably give him a lot more freedom than he had before.
>Kenny Omega He'll go back to Japan which is where he wanted to be all along. He'll have a nice little nest egg he ripped off from the money mark.
>The Bucks They'll be exposed as non-draws and go back to the indies. The only reason they were "over" was because of the Bullet Club tshirt, that they stole from other wrestlers. WWE might bring them in just to job them out to the Usos.
>Cody Rhodes Back to the WWE where he'll be a midcarder, job to HHH on a random episode of Smackdown, and complain all the time on twitter.
>Chris Jericho He's close to retirement so who cares? He'll go into the HoF eventually and he's done enough for them that they won't make him eat too much shit when he comes back. He might even be retired by then so he won't even have to job.
Kayden Torres
WWE will sign the top guys and give them the Club treatment sticking them in the midcard. Being blacklisted from the WWE is not the worst thing that could happen, being blacklisted just means you can work at another promotion and keep being a big fish in a small pond. Being hired by the WWE where they can control your career and keep you in check is the worst thing that could happen to Omega and the Bucks, far worse than being blacklisted.
