It's funny how Io started following +30 wrestlers at once after Takeover and almost all of them are in WWE twitter.com/shirai_io/following I think the heel turn changed her mind, literally. Before that, she was losing every match and then complained about her life in Orlando, it's pretty clear she wasn't happy. They've never booked Candice like a geek. When she was helping Io, she always got the last punch against the horses. I remember a tag match where Io was focused beating Shayna so Candice had to take on both Horses alone, and SHE WON THE EXCHANGE. That's strong booking. Also the betrayal took her with her guard down. After that it was Io who looked like a geek by having to escape from Candice on their only interaction before ther PPV. And during the PPV, Candice kicked out of Io's two finishers, the backbreaker and the moonsault, as well as a Spanish Fly from the corner.
Nothing about Candice booking reads geek. If anything, by always succumbing to her beatings, Io is the one being booked like a geek.
