nxt has been floundering for the past few months and baron corbin coming down to lose to someone won't help that. I'd rather both product do well but currently nxt feel like its in a holding pattern until something gets hot again

Listen, there's main roster guys who can be sent down to NXT for a few weeks to boost ratings... Rusev, Orton, Bray, etc. I'd you cant see the potential, then maybe you should be booking for AEW and try to sell Monkey Boy vs Darby Anus as a main event on Weds.

Big Show crying during the Johnny Ace storyline popped 1.5 million viewers above the previous segment. And maybe Orton is the only guy on the main roster who old fans might watch a few minutes for, and they would wonder why Orton is fighting a midget jobber on some small time show. Anybody who would be excited for AJ styles or whatever going down to NXT would already be watching the program.

damn, I was destroyed by facts and logic other that the fact that the star power of most of the main roster isn't enough to carry people to watch a third night of wrestling. people are surely going to watch ziggler shit talk a podunk nobody just to lose like every other feud he has ever been in. you also missed the root fucking problem where the program finishes and they either need another main roster member to come down or they lose their traction since the crossover between nxt fans and main roster fans is smaller than you like to believe. even in "best case" for nxt is they essentially become main event where most people forget it exists.
