I was 10 and I remember being sad and stunned since I didn't become a shithead smark until high school so I didn't know the details of his personal life. But then I got really stunned a few days later when I saw on the news Chris did the whole murder suicide, which made the empty stadium memorial make a lot more sense to me. Also I thought that Vince was supposed to be fake dead and said wtf when he returned so soon.

I always thought wrestling was dumb, but tried it at royal rumble 2016 cause my friends were always talking about it and ended up enjoying it. My friends also always joked about benoit.

I had already stopped watching, so I saw it on the news. I was already somewhat aware of athletes getting concussions and going crazy, so I figured it was that. I also knew enough about steroids to know that it wasn't steroids, and I remember my time from being in the IWC and knew Benoit was known as a respectable guy, so I figured it was likely the concussions that did it to him.

Benoit was never one of my favorites so I wasn't too shaken up, just obviously taken back like shit... this nigga really fucked up
