no. wwe booking with face and heel turns almost monthly ruined him. zoomers will never understand that he was actually good at one point.

uh yea he was one of the best big guys ever in wcw. one of the only bright spots during that shitshow of an era ("but nwo was based!!" no it was unwatchable unless you were a tryhard teenager)

I thought he only existed to put other guys over, because they would seem so badass for taking down a monster like Big Show.

>"but nwo was based!!" no it was unwatchable unless you were a tryhard teenager
how the fuck would you even know, zoomer faggot? if you weren't there to flip between new episodes of nitro and raw when they were live, your opinion doesn't count for shit here.

i was there, i flipped for a while until i realized that watching nitro was a waste of time so id just ask my cousin if anything good happened bc he would tape it every week. how about you drink a nice hearty glass of my pee

He was constantly pushed and put in prominent spots despite no one really liking him, so yes.

Big Show had a fucked career. His debut was against Hogan as Andre the Giant's son, imaginatively named Giant. Their feud included things like having a monster truck duel on top of a building, followed by Hogan throwing him off the roof like a Mortal Kombat fatality. Giant apparently survived this by falling into a river, which not only should have killed him but was completely impossible for him to have actually been thrown that far.

Then he was put in with Kevin Sullivan's Dungeon of Doom, alongside a mummy, a yeti (or YEH-TAY as schiavones dumbass called it), Earthquake as a shark and Curtis Iuekea cutting absolute nonsense promos that were barely even in english.

He never had entrance music in WCW. Giant would just use whatever music his faction had and would walk out to fucking silence if he was working alone. They never explained why he didn't and he still got pretty good face pops even though he was just walking out going "RAAH".

Hall and Nash buried him, cut promos on him with no rebuttal, talked Bischoff into retarded shit like having him wear a neck brace for like six months, all kinds of bullshit. Nash was probably threatened by Giant being actually a giant and a better worker than him, especially given the amount of time he had been wrestling compared to Nash. When the only thing you have going is "im 7 feet tall!" its a rough deal.

Giant actually became a hugely over babyface almost immediately after Hogan turned heel. All he had to do was keep feuding with Hogan, they just swapped roles. This was good, he had a solid on-off team with Lex Luger and should have really been the guy the nWo couldn't fuck with. Instead he got booked really weak until he was completely buried and joined the nWo like literally everyone else. Probably one of the most meaningless "turns" they did, the only sense it makes is getting him back under Hogan's umbrella to protect his bookings.

After all of this shit, Giant finally leaves and goes to the WWF. This was a huge signing - no pun intended he was one of their biggest stars and came over before WCW was really fucked.

Instead of doing anything sensible they had him be a face, a heel, a face, a heel, good guy promos, bad guy promos, dancing gimmick with Rikishi.. Instead of seeing their next Andre they booked him like some generic 6'4 bodybuilder goon and basically destroyed his heat. The Great Khali got the push Big Show should have.

Basically the only time he has been booked well are very short periods in the 90s and when he was WWECW champion. People try to shit on that but I think it was dimes. Heel Heyman picking the biggest guy on the roster to shit on people was great. He actually got booked like a giant. He was also way overweight and when he came back from that he had an okay celeb feud with Floyd Mayweather. After that.. I quit watching so I don't know for sure.

Only reddit would come up with novellas like this about gay fake fighting drama.

I contributed more to this board in two posts than you have to anything in your life you little nigger.

>he enjoyed watching a 45-year-old hulk hogan jerk himself off every week
cringe

>I contributed more to a wrestling shitposting board with my novellas no one will read
lmao, have sex and get a clue, faggot.

>nash was threatened by giant
reminder nash faked a heart attack to avoid jobbing to the giant and then convinced eric he should go over instead making a miracle recovery to win at the next ppv

t. illiterate

Dunno but I know he, Kane and Taker all need to leave wrestling forever before annoyance turns unto permanent hatred that overshadows any positive legacy.

He learned that trick from HBK except he didn't know how to sell or cut a promo.

His best look

you just know hogan convinced him early on to use his size as a crutch and it took years for him to undo his lazy piece of shit habits. beeg was great when he put in the effort though

Giant > Big Show

If his 2000 "suspension" tells anything...

He had GOAT potential. He isn't the GOAT. So he didn't reach his potential.

2006 ECW BEEG did

And I would tell ya if something happened, ya maggot mark

When he got sent to fat camp?

Nah but he got close enough, loads of great matches, some memorable mic parts and angles, respected by everyone, beloved by some.

Nah he was a victim of the times, politics, and being a big fish in a very big pond full of killer sharks (no pun intended).

*only rebuttal is shitty meme*
Crinnnnnge.

WWE always fucks up the big guys with talent and push the no talent ones. Show was just one of many that could wrestle and was an athlete but you would rarely see it but there easily could have been storylines dedicated to showing why he was always a top guy outside of his size and put over champs/challengers

Have sex, too late to get a clue unfortunately since you've already wasted half your life writing reddit novellas.

Legit GOAT potential but never reached it. His athleticism for his size and body for the first couple years was legit incredible, it's a shame he struggled to stay in shape for so much of his career.

If, when he first made the leap to WWF, he wasn't as lazy or sloppy, I wonder how different his career would have been.

Still one of the best all around true giants (i.e. 6'10"ish+ shoot height) in history.

*continues with the shitty memes*
Fucking hell lol. Come on Lord Mung, do better.

He had the GOAT reveal youtube.com/watch?v=kx8Xb5VJulQ

>hall and nash
>konnan
>macho man
they were cool in their time. I had family that were foul mouthed beer guzzling rednecks so stone cold never appealed to me. I got to see that in real life all the time, why choose to cheer for it on tv?

>user actually knows what he's talking about and creates a thoughtful, accurate post on the subject at hand
>Gets dog-piled by shit-eating cocksuckers spouting stale-ass non-memes who don't even like pro wrestling

Yea Forums IS THE WORST FUCKING BOARD OUTSIDE of /pol/

WE ARE THE CANCER

Giant was doing Moonsaults during training in this era. One of the old dogs told him not to in matches, that it would not fit his character.

Extreme Giant was one of the best world title reigns in WWE history.

his agility when he was young was absolutely freakish, he could kip up, do missile dropkicks it was insane, he just couldn't sell if 95-97 Giant wrestled now with todays booking where no one can sell he'd be hands down the best wrestler in the world.
