The ironic thing about Yea Forums is that the roided up, super violent megafreaks that they think women are attracted to are the reason women aren't interested in wrestling. Yea Forums may complain about the loss of monster, larger than life dudes in wrestling, but the fact is the average person who hasn't watched since childhood or has never watched wrestling still THINKS modern WWE is the same as the attitude era, and they're just not interested. Most modern women see those super huge violent meatheads like Ryback as threatening and are not interested. Part of the reason NJPW crowds are full of women is the guys in the ring are mostly NOT like that.

I don't understand why Yea Forums can't wrap their heads around this. Women are attracted to guys they see as protectors and providers. A guy like Ibushi or Omega looks strong and appears calm, which demonstrates control. That's a person who can protect and provide without being a threat.
