Why would Sting let this happen?

Best sting

nWo Sring was the GOAT.

He got Sean Waltmaned

because then Hogan wouldn't had been the top guy so Sting took one for the team

What the fuck does that mean?

Waltman is a dork that was always lowcard because he was a lacky that took on the qualities of the stable. Syxx because he was the sixth member of NWO, the gimmick was literally that he joined. X-Pac because it's X and he's in DX, the gimmick was literally that he joined.

Sting was a main event top guy months prior but he let the bookers treat him like Waltman in that his entire gimmick and look became "I'm in Wolfpac." The gimmick was literally that he joined.

Pretty sure he was on drugs at the time so he probably didn't give a fuck.

He was still booked pretty well when he joined Wolfpac

why is he trying to look like Muto

No he wasn't.

It was based

Wolfpack was super over and the fans wanted him to join. WCW gave the suffice what they want. Crow sting was stale.

He looks like such a doofus with the red paint.

lol looks like some gimp outfit

Pulled off HELLO FELLOW KIDS better than most of them did. Sting will always be cool.

I mean it was dumb, but at least the Wolfpac were faces and weren't the "real" nWo. Sting joining them was sort of fine, since they were the good guys battling the bad guys. If Sting had joined the white and black, that would have been fucking retarded.

Because he’s a carnie and wanted to get his paycheck

Wanted to help his friend Nash cope with his rape

He tore his butthole.

Trying to ride the coattails of Nash's white hot momentum.

Would you turn your back on him?

Wolfpack was dimes

I always thought it was weird how Sting never at least interacted with the Flock , one would think Raven would be trying to convince Sting to join him and try to push his chaotic nihilist philosophy on him

It would make for an interesting angle where they both wanna destroy the NWO with the main difference is that Sting wants to bring back WCW to its olden days while Raven wants to shape it in his own image

this

it was over as shit you moron zoomer, keep od'ing on your wwe network docs

Raven rarely interacted with anyone because boomer Bischoff hated him, didn't get the gimmick and resented that it was over

Raven wasn't over enough to work with Sting retard

He really was.

Bruh look at this dude

you're thinking of kevin nash

To be honest, he had no choice. At that moment in WCW the only hot groups were the NWO factions. Sting has gone on record saying that at the time he thought it was pretty cool but in hinsight it was the wrong thing to do. Sting WAS WCW. He was the face of WCW and him joining the Wolfpac was like he was turning his back on WCW.

The bigger reason for him joining was so that he could help out Lex who was in the doghouse and almost fired. He joined on the agreement that Lex could too. When it was booked on TV, they had Luger join first so that they could use his friendship with Sting as a story hook to get Sting to join them instead of NWO Hollywood.

>Raven wasn't over enough to work with Sting retard

That's 100% false. Raven was one of WCW's most over guys despite being booked a heel. He had one of the best selling non-NWO shirts in WCW and got huge reactions from the crowds.

he was over with angsty teenagers, too small to play with the big boys

>he was over
>b-but it doesn't because the people that liked him were loosers
ebin dude

lmao

You're trying too hard

exactly, the same reason why CM PUnk was never a main event guy - nobody took him seriously against Goldberg, that's why Goldberg had to kill the entire Flock just to get a match going

Just stop. he feuded with DDP and Savage and was fine.

He never feuded with Savage - they had a staredown once and it was never brought up again, macho didnt work with jaybrones

He may have gone too far in a few places.

Watch Punk vs Brock or Taker and talk about nobody taking him seriously, asslicker.

Sting-Raven would have been so much better than Sting-Vampiro.

>taken seriously by smark marks
boy oh boy

You mean literally the only thing left of WWE's fanbase after Triple H?

It's no secret that Stinger was pilled up out of his mind at this stage in his career and had likely mentally checked out given the state WCW was in at that point in time.

you mean WCW that was making millions of dollars, selling out everywhere? Yeah what a bad state, go back networkdrone

He should have been the top guy in the company. Instead he was third fiddle in a stable behind Kevin Gash and Lex Lugar.

Punk never feuded with Goldberg ya brainlet.

Sting/Vampiro was based though.

The soulpatch was even worse.

beggin ya to learn to read

based

Thanks Nash

I never liked the black and red Wolfpac shit. They were just as cringe as face DX to me, even when I was 14. From a storyline perspective it made zero sense for Sting to join any version of the nWo. All that said the wolfpac were insanely over and made tons of money. And while Sting's Crow character was white hot for a long time by the Spring of 98 it was stale and just wasn't that over anymore. It needed to take a break.

Zoomers have no clue how over this was.
