Like it or not Ricky Steamboat will be the only gook in wrestling history that even vaguely mattered

I think you're forgetting someone. How many times did Ricky sell out the Tokyo Dome?

That finish isn’t going to work with me. How about I HEADLOCKA YOU YOU HEADLOCKA ME

worked

but Flair didn't do armdrags

Holy fucking yikes and cringe, is this the kind of fag that the yoshicringe general's brought to Yea Forums?

the same amount as okada

he did in one of their 3 matches. I believe it was the last one since Flair was going over, so he actually worked Steamboat's style more, including armdrags up the wazoo.

>Sell out
kek the state of who japanlets cope

Fujinami and Muta won the NWA title while holding the IWGP world title so they're the most relevant gooks of all time. Masahiro "sawdust neck" Chono also eventually held both titles so yeah.
Steamboat was made by Flair but other than those matches he never amounted to shit.

Is it true that Flair gave away the finish to all his matches by wearing certain color attire? If he wore red trunks he was doing a job and blue trunks he was going over? Remember hearing that somewhere before but I never paid much attention to confirm.

Red is definitely jobbing.

Blue and black was mostly going over, with due exceptions like WM24.

When he lost to HBK in 2008 he was wearing blue

Jushin Thunder Liger you dumb shit.

What an immature self mark.

Nobody knows who the fuck that is except reddit fags like you.

This match also had the I CHOPPA YOU, YOU CHOPPA ME spot that the gooks in Japan still use today.

just admit you were wrong, call me based, and move on

Jushin Thunder Liger
Great Muta
Atsushi Onita
Bull Nakano
Mr. Fuji
Professor Tanaka
Antonio Inoki

>Steamboat was made by Flair but other than those matches he never amounted to shit.

Flair made Steamboat a decade before those series of matches in 89 ya ding-dong-diddley zoomer. In the late 70s their series of matches were for the Mid Atlantic title though.

Then Steamboat went on to the WWF where he had great feuds with Jake the Snake & Savage before he flaked out to go home to his wife in the summer of 87. Those series of matches in 89 were just a rehash of their matches from the late 70s, redone for a larger audience as opposed to just a territory.

But then he also came back in the early 80s and was a Tag champion with Dustin Rhodes and Shane Douglass, beat Austin for the TV title and later on the US title.

Then he had another World title shot against Flair right before Hogan came in to WCW in 94. Fucking dumbass kids nowadays don't even know that Steamboat was over through the 80s until 94 when he got hurt and retired.

Not enough flips for ya?

>forgetting the greatest Japanese wrestler of all time

Okada/Steamboat could be a decent match

nice bait

Poor Steamboat having to carry Flabkada by the hand every step of the way.

I don't remember based Tatanka changing his gimmick to a professor

You can't play that card when Liger was regularly on Nitro, zoomer.

>Liger was regularly on Nitro
You're either thinking of Lex Luger or Ultimo Dragon.

Fucking kek

>WWE
Stop posting deep fakes.

That fucking Jap was too damn powerfull. He defeated Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan back-to-back on PPV main events.

Oh, you were talking about World Championship Wrestling. You should be more specific when you say "WCW".

Yeah, and he was going to take the WWF title back to his homeland of Japan until Luger arrived via helicopter to slam his fat, gook ass aboard the USS Intrepid on the 4th of July.
USA USA USA USA

Would a gimmick like pic related get over? In NJPW or WWE?

Attached: fuck anime.jpg (687x1024, 268K)

Lex Luger used the spirit and power of the thousands of fans who showed up on America's birthday to make the whole country proud.

Fucken hell. Why don't wrestlers look like peak Ric Flair anymore?

based historian chad dabbing on the zoom zoom

This is the one thing I think Meltzer is still useful for, history

>vaguely

Steamboat was a huge draw and is a wrestling legend. There's nothing "vague" about it.

Because Yea Forums would call them chubby old manlet shitters that need to hit the weights and get a clue

probably not

What if i show you this?
