With the diving headbutt they go soaring through the air and then all of a sudden coming to a dead stop, leaving their brain rattling around in their skull. It might not be as impactful as a full on concussion, but it wears and tears on your brain. especially if you make a career out of the move.

to some extent i would imagine so, but the severity of it would depend on the bump itself. and most concussions go undiagnosed and untreated. Its all of the repeated small impacts that also take their toll. take a look at anyone who has played football to some extent, where the ones who go professional are the most obvious

I do stunt work for a living and you take courses to learn how to do it properly. I can tell you that you begin on soft mats and with lots of padding and even then you feel rocked around when you do a bump and dont know how to break your fall. I know these guys work with a support ring that absorbs some impact, and theyre big guys but even that is basically rock hard. There is no way to "fake" the impact from jumping or throwing yourself a couple feet through the air. What youre learning is to distribute the impact through as much surface area of your body as possible so you dont break something. These guys learn how to also not hurt their in ring partner and oddly also use them to absorb impact. But a fall is a fall and it rattles your brain. Doing a stunt you'll do it a couple of times and then thats it. Its filmed. I cant imagine doing this 3-5 times a week for how many years
