If you took any previous generation of wrestlers and gave them social media and the internet and youtube, they'd be pumping out legendary promos, working the internet, capturing headlines, and staying consistent and in-character. But today's wrestlers are marks for themselves. Everyone is a mark about something, but no one should be a self-mark, because you're only working yourself.

I don't understand how Punk fighting, and losing, in MMA exposed the business or hurt kayfabe. Pro wrestlers are basically acrobats that bodybuild nowadays.
