When did you finally get a clue and stop watching?
When did you finally get a clue and stop watching?
Probably when I was 17
RAW 25th anniversary. Turned me off of the product.
For me, it's the 2015 Royal Rumble
2006
I watch what I like, and skip what I don't.
Mid-2012. John Laurinaitis becoming on-screen GM on both shows, RAW going 3-hours, Sheamus vs. Alboring del Sleepo every other PPV, and the Triple H-Lesnar feud were all just so god damned stupid. And the worst part is, things were actually better back then than they are now from the looks of it, with Kofi and Rollins getting pushed as top faces.

Is the time right for a return to the Attitude Era?
We live in the most degenerate time in human history. If WWE is dying, why not just have one last X-rated, foul mouthed, super violent attempt at winning back some ratings?
I suppose Wrestling has simply had its day.
Because WWE became as big as it did by catering to a wider international public
This is what i've been saying.
If you're dying ANYWAY, why not just go for a Hail Mary of tits, ass, and blood and at least try and get back the lowest common denominator of fans.
Your sponsors clearly aren't helping and your oil sultan keeping you afloat literally only wants performers from the tits and blood era.
Was already half making the switch, but after WrestleMania 30 when Bryan's first feud was Kane. I knew this company wouldn't just run with stuff. I've watched manias and rumbles at friends houses but don't see much beyond that now.
This year's post-Wrestlemania slump has been particularly bad, I gave up watching all WWE brands in April-May and made the switch to MLW, AEW, New Japan, and whichever GCW shows have gimmicks I enjoy.
when they brought back the great kahli that one ppv
after wrestlemania 33 (i was only watching smackdown and the nxt ppvs up until that point anyway)
Honestly has there ever been a more blatant Fuck the Fans moment than the 2015 Rumble?
It takes a certain amount of effort to book a rumble that bad.
I still laughed my ass off from when Bryan got eliminated to the end of the match. It probably was my beer but I have never seen a more glorious/hilarious trainwreck in wrestling.
August 2001
Exactly. They need to get in some UFC fighters, ex porn stars and fringe lunatics from the indies and go all out degeneracy. I honestly think it would work, would at least boost ratings temporarily.
I just watch whatever bits i find interesting on youtube now, don't know how some of my friends sit there watching this shit.
When Paul Levesque took over
