The marks are in the ring and their character is a guy that does moves. They work a dangerous style with moves that look like choreography to get praise from guys that haver never been in the business, have never been In a company and never drew or would know the 1st thing needed to draw as a wrestler. They shorten their careers because they have no character and think that adding random names/phrases means character. What the fuck The Arquitect means and how does it relate to Seth? What the fuck does Burn it Down even mean? He looks like shit, doesn't have a character, doesn't look cool and is someone's boyfriend, that's one of Raw's main faces.
This garbage workrate style impresses the small but vocal minority, the hardcore fans that think of wrestling whether they are sleeping or awake but it drives away the casual fans. The working style shortens their careers because of injuries and the lack of character makes them dwarfs anytime someone from before 2007 stands next to them.
The solution for the marks here is to bash the feud against Corbin and have Seth feud with guys that would produce great matches (not a great feud) that also have no character.
Benoit was a great wrestler because his gimmick as a technical wrestler that doesn't have much personality was different from all of the gimmicks during his time.
Now you have a bunch of Benoits that don't look as good, don't show anywhere close the level of intensity and realism while wrestling and no one stands out. But they have their praise from marks that they deserve a push because they have "good" matches so they will never change
