You are 100% correct. Only brainlets still blame the champ for the ratings. Supposed draws like Bryan and Brock didn't move the needle, so why are we blaming Seth for the ratings that have been lackluster for years? People need to understand WWE is the draw now and the overall show is shit and the audience is lapsed because of this, whoever the champ isn't gonna change that. When they put together a cohesive product with quality writing and captivating characters is when we will see change.

Completely agree. He has a perfectly acceptable level of skill as a wrestler, and can bumble though scripted promos fine. He just can't get over because WWE doesn't know how to get anything over, and he can't have good matches because WWE doesn't know how to book good matches. He's as much a victim of how the company operates as anyone else, maybe moreso, because as the face of the company he cops all the shit from fans personally. The same thing happened with Reigns. The same thing is happening with Kofi. The same thing will happen with basically everyone from here forward, until they get their shit together.
