Shoot style is supposed to mirror how a real life fight would go. If this is anything less than Barnett squashing Mox, it’s stupid.

Part of the appeal is "oh shit how is this wrestler going to do in a 'real fight'?". Even though we've seen mixed results over the years, it's like playing with action figures from different franchises together

Shoot style was and should be about putting together people with actual training and performing a pseudo MMA fight, but worked. Putting in people that have never stepped into an MMA school in their lives is heresy.

Pancrase is an MMA promotion. Shoot Style is a style of pro-wrestling and it was never meant to "mirror" real fighting. It was simply doing pro-wrestling in a more realistic and believable manner. I won't agree or disagree with you about pro-wrestlers with no legit training working shoot style is dumb because the smart ones won't actually try to work a fake MMA match and would instead apply what they do know in a more believable and realistic manner. This is what I predict Moxley will do.

If Moxley had any integrity, he’d let Barnett get one legit hit on him and then we can see how “hardcore” he is. A better main event would be Swagger/Barnett.

You really don't know anything about shoot style. Shoot style PREDATES MMA; in fact MMA in Japan comes directly from shoot style pro-wrestling and they never tried to make it look like an MMA fight. It was all about making the pro-wrestling they were already doing more believable.
