The creation suite in Fire Pro requires an advanced kind of autism with all the different parts, layers, moves and color swatches but the logic is the fucking WORST. I guess for people who really want to go in depth it's perfect but you might as well just program your own fucking wrestling game with all the damn numbers and settings involved. 2K is more accessible. Stick with that.

2K is absolute garbage. It doesnt take much to learn Fire Pro and the results are INFINITELY superior

That game is fucking terrible. There are what, 8 total moves? There's no selling. Terrible hit boxes. Top rope moves suck. Springboards suck. It's all shit.

It's in the thousands, I have no idea what you're talking about.

During the match? Nonono. There 8 or 9 excluding the finisher (which you can hit anytime for some reason). You only have 3 moves per button.

It's 4 moves per button and finishers are reversed 99% of the time when they're done too early in the match.

I was planning on doing something like Yea Forumsmania but Summerslam themed and stream it after or before Summerslam. Doing cpu vs cpu matches and a battle royal main event to crown the first ever Yea Forums champion.

Only worth buying if you like making ridiculous CAWs and watching them fight each other. Actually playing the game is fucking torturous. Imagine a fighting game where every move is a command grab and the only way to get out of stunlock is hitting a QTE that is tied to a limited meter.

No, it's still Yuke's, it's just that they try to make it more "realistic" rather than fun to play. That means you wind up spending half the game "selling", especially if you're playing as someone who doesn't have insane stats.

it's slow sim style that is basically just a r2 button reversal game. Sims can be fine for wrestling but it's just not fun for that long. Universe mode is just a match generator, everything is moving at least 25 percent slower than it should be

There's nothing online does but lets you download shit from the database. Of course making CAWs gets pretty old pretty quick, especially if you're making stuff with imported textures. I don't know man. I'd fool around with the CAWs on your pirated copy and make the judgment call if being able to download goofy shit like is worth it. If you want actual wrestlers that aren't in the game, a lot of the best versions of those are hardmods, which you can download and install on a pirated copy.

So Ive played past Yuke wrestling games before and enjoyed the combat. I hated when they went the MK, arcadey route. How does this measure up? Ups and downs of the grappling and strike system. Do you build meter to pull of specials or are they ready from the get? Are power moves button combos or all contextual?

the hit box can be goofy sometimes. The grappling is fine and only has two main QTE for chain wrestling + finisher-strength submissions

metered, but you can set finishers equipped at the start of a match if you want and change the AI to do squashes. You can also set the strength of finishers, weapons and length of recovery time.

Finishers and signature moves only use one button. Everything else is 1 direction + button.

Fun factor? Im sorry Ive gotten burned by wrestling games before. Is it genuinely fun to play a match or does it it feel receptive or a slog after awhile? Is there a full managerial mode where you can book matches and then play out the matches too? Like build a Summer Slam card and do the matches?

With the number of moves, CAWS, and roster it's worth a couple of months. If you want to have a G1 style match you can change the gameplay setting to do that. If you wanna just fight and do challenges like super fast mode and gauntlets, they have a towers section now. If you haven't played 2k before the gimmick matches would seem fresher, but it hasn't really evolved since the previous games or even the first Smackdown game beyond graphics (get out of cell, throw someone off or through the cell, end the match etc.). Tag matches are annoying, but three and four ways are pretty fun. You can book TV for all the brands but only within universe mode so that involves setting the roster and all kinds of other shit first. It's not like UFC game where you just do a card.

Wwe 2k19 isn't slow. It's your computer that is dog shit. My rig runs 60 fps and everything is very fast. Maybe the consoles only put out 30fps or something?

Yes. If the person was lazy you can usually find movesets uploaded separately, but mostly they're complete. There's a few things that still aren't in the game like a space flying tiger drop and kamigoye. Yeah. For some they have the real names you can use for the ring announcing. Notice you only hear Kenny's though, the person took out Okada's because the best choice for a name to use is Okarder, which is where that meme comes from. The belts and ring graphics are all downloadable and it'll display whatever text you use.
