What did you think of it?

Loved it, one of the best in recent years in my opinion, made me thirsty for more movies where he's more like a natural disaster than anything else, very thirsty for a sequel even though it won't happen and will probably rewatch it next year.

I hope for a sequel as well. It kinda reminded me of GMK, which is one of my favorites. What did you think of the 2019 movie? I want to know I should see it or not

Yeah it's highly unlikely too, with Anno going back to Evangelion, Toho planning a Cinematic Universe instead of a sequel, just not seeing it sadly even with an ending like that.
I haven't watched the 2019 movie yet, on the list, just from what I heard from friends, it's probably worth seeing if you like Kaijus beating the crap out of each other kind of Godzilla, they focus a lot on that supposedly, unusually so, the human element of it all is given little attention and it's also not very good. I can see it enjoying it myself but it's just not what I'm looking for currently, especially after Shin, probably gonna rewatch the original Godzilla soon if anything.

If you start watching from today's show you'll be starting in the middle of a tournament. I'd recommend instead starting with the show from Dallas on the 6th, but be sure to check out their YT channel for the storyline recap series that they do as well as the post match interview promos, since those are mostly how the stories are built.

The G1 is a single-elimination tournament, it is held as a round-robin, with winners from two pools wrestling in the final to decide that year's winner. the winner gets a title match in the main event at wrestle kingdom (their biggest show)
i'd say watch tonight show but just jump straight to the main event since it's moxley and Ishii and lot of people seem to like it.
