G1 always makes WWE's flaws more apparent but why the fuck is everyone in the WWE so weak?
Some of WWE guys have decent physiques but the NJPW guys actually have core strength and functional strength, even when they don't have strongman gimmicks.

cuz they are fags with no standards but your look
only guys who are strong for their size are seth and chad, and they go out of their way to work out more than for looks
cesaro?
>
Buddy should be on that list too
Yeah, him too
There aren't many. Cesaro is deceptively big though.
post body
Remember 2 / 3 years ago when Kenny first went heavyweight and he'd pull those insane feats of strength out of nowhere like catching people in German or suplex positions?
IF EVERYTHING COULD EVER FEEL THIS REAL FOREVER
who?
Seth only does like 3 suplexes every match and we know thats assisted by his opponent.
I don't watch much E lately but he used to do strongshit.
Most WWE wrestlers are bodybuilders. Muscle entirely for show. NJPW wrestlers train as actual athletes.
all of this. They're just fags who don't lift, and use PEDs to cut their bf percentage. It's all superficial looks in WWE.
Unironically this.
Reigns seems to be the guy that unironically does a brosplit in the gym
>Most WWE wrestlers are bodybuilders. Muscle entirely for show
Most of them look like shit too.
Balor is one of the few guys in WWE that looks good and has functional strength, it's a shame he's booked in to a diet coke cruiserweight gimmick. WWE seemingly doesn't like him making the bigger guys look weak too often. If you check out his work out videos he's lifting as much as Cesaro while being 6 inches smaller
It doesn't even make sense. All the 80's guys were freaks with big fake show muscles and it made them look like superheroes even if they couldn't actually lift and got gassed in seconds. The modern guys are flabby manlets and still have no strength. We have the worst of all worlds.
>thinking height has anything to do with lifting weights
Balor is fucking beast. The guy hasn't eaten a carb in the 21st century. I really hope he's getting paid a shit ton of money to wast his talent and ability doing nothing in this awful company.
legit strong wrestlers end up looking like this, which isn't what normies think strong looks like
>What is leverage
Don't (You) me.
Big Dick Devitt spends his free time working out and fucking his fiance, in equal parts. He's a goddamn machine at 38 and looks better than most of the younger guys in the roster
See Hirooki Goto in G1 right now. The guy went into animal mode.
The difference being that 30 years ago people abused steroids. Nowadays they’re still used, but correctly. Also there’s more emphasis on wrestling now so you have to incorporate cardio obviously they’d blow up.
One thing they also do better and happened in this last g1 show, when they botch(or just wrong timing) they improvise in a way that makes the botch not look like a botch. I've rarely saw that in WWE in the last 15 years or so, both men and women(especially the women trained in the PC, they don't have a clue about wrestling).
Heel Rollins did based power wrestling moves. He manhandled Cena during his awesome programs with John.
Rollins was deadlifting Cena, hucking him over his head, all types of shit. Watch some "Rollins/Cena" from his heel run and you will see.
How do I train for functional core strength bros
based and chadpilled
Deadlifts, Squats, Rows, Cleans, OHP, Push Press and it should be ok.
wat
am lanklet
Cesaro
Strowman
Lesnar
Joe
Buddy
Good lord G1 Heavy Kenny was peak performance and look...I miss that
Mmmm holy yen
Go to /fit/
Read the sticky, learn how to do deadlifts and squats first, then keep working your compound lifts. You can run a push/pull/legs routine for like 5-6 days a week and you’ll get some impressive gains in the first few months that will motivate you to keep going.
Can I skip deadlifts. Some famous powerlifte on Joe Rogan's podcast memed me into being scared of deadlifts.
Imagine using Ishii to make this point.
>looks like a weak noodle armed baby against BIG DIMES Cobb
>can barely lift him
>spends the entire match being ragdolled around by Cobb effortlessly
>goes over him anyway
