He has been striving for 7 years now, and is 38 years old. He has basically done all he is going to do, and if even he did get to the 'top' he'd be teamed up with some woman he pretends to date and fight Baron Corbin and Kofi Kingston all the time. AEW at the moment doesn't have a good enough roster, but there are other places he would have a better twilight.

But they were together on the indies before they both got signed. She's another one who could of had a better career but instead retired early to be a trainer for WWE money. Hell she could have been the American version of that one Japanese chick that was in TNA for a couple months (Hamada? I think that was her name).

But then again I think that chick had to retire because of drug abuse/getting arrested and she can't leave Japan anymore, so maybe selling out is better?
