Toru Yano beat Tetsuya Naito > Tomohiro Ishii beat Jeff Cobb > Jon Moxley beat Taichi > Hirooki Goto beat Jay White > Juice Robinson beat Shingo Takagi
Toru Yano beat Tetsuya Naito > Tomohiro Ishii beat Jeff Cobb > Jon Moxley beat Taichi > Hirooki Goto beat Jay White >...
Shingo really was the loser of the night. He looked completely unremarkable as he had to sell Juice's slow offense and ended up jobbing out.
Wow people lost in G1
fuck me what has the world come 2
Autism
Moxley V Yano is gonna be the match of the G1
Yeah not a good look and it really wasn't his fault
The sad thing I've had to realize is that aside from having a great name there isn't a single redeeming quality about Juice
>yano beat naito
How and why?
im being worked right?
how the fuck are non of you people aware of G1 yano
He's a nujapanlet who probably seethes every time his husbando Naito eats a pin (so a lot), don't mind him
Taichi getting BTFO was the highlight of the night for me.
>Juice Robinson beat Shingo Takagi
Wait, seriously? I didn't see that match and forgot it was even happening because I don't care about Juice. How do you job out Shingo to fucking Juice?
Well Juice is bigger then him....
Far worse than him jobbing was him having to wait standing around like a moron for Juice to deliver his offense because he spends 5 minutes playing to the crowd before delivering every punch
He just looked like a complete jobber. Miserable G1 debut.
Gotta put those Jrs in their place I guess
Juice is stronger.
But you have a guy who has lost once in your company and you have him enter G1 and lose the first match against the least credible guy in the tournament.
I'm just not gonna watch it
Juice only needs to win the last night match vs Moxley, he not only should lose every other match but if he had lost every other match then him beating Mox on the last night would get a huge pop and get him over more than if he won half his G1 matches.
They are pushing Juice and he's gonna be in the top 4 of b-block
hes only gonna lose 2-3
Gross
God, I hope not
>LOSetties now have another wrestler to whine about when he loses predetermined matches
Juice needed a win a lot more than Shingo did.
No, he would benefit more from losing every match until the last one and then getting pushed after. That's classic Japanese booking
Am I the only person here who actually enjoyed Juice/ Shingo?
i liked it. it was fun
I hope so.
It was decent, but I would've liked it more if Shingo got a bit more offence in.
It was incredibly uncoordinated to an inordinate amount. When Moxley's match has better looking offense and selling, you know something's up.
>He fell for the "Moxley is bad" meme
lol
I liked it. It was a great match and the crowd was hot.
It was better than many people gave it credit for and Juice's performance was better than people are crediting him for, likely because their boy didn't go over and they're mad about it.
I fucking hate everything about Juice but he's bigger and stronger and absolutely fucking smashed Shingo with his offense, his strikes looked harder, his lariats were vicious. It was completely believable that he won. I hated that they tried to do some overly complicated reversal sequences but w/e. Good match, surprising outcome.
is fucking Yano, who dosen t lose to him from time to time?, at this point he should hav an IWGP, a NEVER and an IC chalange if they go by the rules
I'm only watching G1 for Mox, I was just under the impression Naito was a main eventer in New Japan.
How the fuck is he stronger, you mongoloid? He's taller but when has he displayed any strength?
Based Yano jobbing out that Stardust Retard geek
Jrs moving up are always booked like that at first
based
I always knew this was Yano's year!
>he fell for the "Moxley is good purely because he left WWE so I have to like him now" actual meme
Hi drone
I always liked Moxley tbqh
Shingo jobbing is a tragedy
I really hate that Mox keeps going over
He's only been going over shitters, you dummy. You're gonna be seething real bad when he goes against actually competent and talented people like Naito.
Don't worry, though, he's only gonna get like 10 points in the end.
>actually competent and talented people like Naito
I keep seeing this and it never stops being funny
You could use the seethe from Naitofags to power steam turbines
Naito is over rated and a poor man's Nakamura, but saying he has straight up no talent seems like a bit much.
Anyways, my whole point is that he's gonna lose to Moxley.
B group was the clear jannetty confirmed
he will win b-block and lose in the finals to Kota. building up an undefeated gajin only for him to lose to a young new star is classic booking.
I like B block better tbqh. A Block is the block of overrated shitters.
>young new star
>Kota
lmao Moxshit isn't going undefeated through the G1 you absolute nujapanlet
Not even main eventers have protected wins when it comes to the G1, user!
Really? Am I the only one who disagrees with this?
Shingo looked great considering he was working with Juice and jobbed. I've always found Juice overrated af and was never impressed by his supposedly "better matches'. This one was physical despite a couple of botches, Shingo got the best match out of him I've seen personally.
I already spoiled you the Moxley results weeks in advance. Why do you keep arguing?
Beats Taichi
Loses to Cobb
Beats Ishii
Beats Shingo
Beats Naito
Loses to Yano
Loses to White
Beats Goto
Loses to Juice
10 points
>loses to Cobb
He won't lose so early. First loss will be Naito or Shingo.
They're pushing Ospreay and White as the absolute superior gaijins, tho
>poor man's Nakamura
At least he didn’t need a dancing gimmick to get over.
>Why do you keep arguing?
Cause nobody cares about ya shitty guesses ya seethin autismo
Also I know ya frontal lobe is malformed so social cues are hard to understand but people shitting on you aren't arguing with you
B block has the biggest overrated shitter,Moxetty.
When they're all right, are they still gonna be "guesses"?
they're signed to new japan. Mox only stays for the G1. this is a perfect way to make use of him in making young guys.
An actual fact
>loses to Cobb
>beats Naito and Ishii
Every single time Yano shows up anywhere with English commentary, they mention that his role is the spoiler. I assume the Japanese commentary brings it up often as well. He's supposed to steal wins from big names, which conveniently means that he's there for storytelling purposes. He's there in the G1 to provide some sort of tension, unpredictability and to give b-block dudes a night off.
Did you manage to not pay attention to his whole gimmick? He shows up drinking sake (from his bar), shilling merchandise. Then he proceeds to fight dirty as hell, steal RVD's taunt, win via nutshot (or just lose), and shill merch while running away. His whole thing is that he's a scummy son of a bitch that's more concerned about his bar and merch
How the fuck is Moxley overrated lol
Has anyone been saying he's gonna be a IWGP champ or something?
He's basically gaijin Toru Yano. Added in to spice up the G1 and maybe get a briefcase shot and a few title matches out of the deal.
Ya seethin simp
People gotta get their NJPW-cred by acting like hipsters
As if the two matches Moxley has had on NJPW so far weren't fun
Look lil fella lemme ding-dong diddly break it down for ya
Mox isn't gonna be a reliable consistent asset for NJPW as of October, don't get used to him being around so much. They're going to squeeze what they can out of him but between the G1's end and his departure he will only be able to defend the US Title once, when he drops it.
That's gonna be back to Juice. Cobb's a NEVER guy.
This hot commodity over with the Japs they're painting so strong isn't going to lose his second fucking G1 match. On the other hand, a guy like Moxley they can't rely on long-term isn't going to beat Naito, a big 4 member that isn't a champion, because he won't be able to set up a title rematch.
If you're booking, do you put Mox over one of your top guys knowing said top guy may not get his win back? If you do, you're a retard.
Naito's his first loss.
Because people rate him and he's not a good wrestler, obviously.
Cope pleb
Yes, a guess doesn't stop being a guess just because it ends up correct
I'm sorry user I didn't know you actually had autism, I was memeing earlier my bad, wouldn't want you to put your head through a wall in a meltdown and cause your single mother more grief
I see simps here overrating him for no reason other than he is a WWE reject,Kenta already showed that he is clearly the best of the two and he's in group 1.
>Moxley isn't gonna come back after the G1 and he's only gonna defend the title once to immediately drop it
I mean, yeah, if I believed this, then the rest of your post would make sense
Statistically unlikely to guess right. More statistically likely I'm a genius at that point.
I never said he wouldn't come back, I'm saying it's impossible to determine WHEN. New Japan books in advance, if they can't solidify when he'll be back they're not going to set up future angles.
And it's statistically likely you'll die a virgin what's your point
What makes you think Moxley doesn't have a deal already in place for the next 3 shows post G1?
You're not wrong. I'm posting on Yea Forums, after all.
STOP THE DAMN MATCH
>young guys
Who are you even talking about, only Ospreay and White are less than 30 in the roster. Though he will be breeding Shota alright.
>le absolute state of virgins keyboard fighting
kek
>Kenta already showed that he is clearly the best of the two and he's in group 1.
That's gonna be a yikes from me
There are four, Royal Quest and three Destruction shows.
He won't double-duty title defenses on the Destruction shows and they would've announced him for RQ. After that the next one is KoPW, which is in October, where he dries up.
So, one defense.
>He dries up
AEW doesn't even have house shows
>when you deliver such bants that someone else gets secondhand triggered
2ez
I'm crying rn
Shut up
I can't fucking believe this, Shingo had such a rise to the top, to only job out in his first G1 match to Juice Jobinson.
Never really liked juice's "pure as the driven snow" babyface stuff, it comes off as contrived. I hope Moxley hands his ass to him again in August.
>I hope Moxley hands his ass to him again in August.
Hah, I wish, but it's not gonna happen. Juice is gonna win and possibly cost Moxley the tournament in the process.
>Shingo
Get it in your head that he's going to get a negative record since NJPW still sees him as a Jr. Same with Ospreay.
Jesus I hope Okada does not lose to Reddit Sabre Jr. just to headline a royal quest heavyweight title defence.
More hyped for yano ishii desu senpai
They should each get 9 points. If anything, Ospreay should win more matches, having given Shingo his first loss and being the champion.
Here's the ceruleanpill. The booking always works out in the end so the right people get to the finals. It's expected you're not going to win every match in the G1 so it doesn't hurt anyone when they do lose.
Juice is a hard hitting heavyweight though
So you think you know better than Gedo?
They have faith in Juice. Juice draws dimes and is over
I enjoyed it user-kun
>hating naito vs yano
you guys should watch the tanahashi vs yano feud it was pure seething of an ace.
No, that's stupid. Some people still end up looking worse than others by the end.
Jay vs Goto was dope
I’m just glad people have stopped pretending that Juice is good in any way. He made Shingo look like shit. That’s a feat not seen yet before.
Best part of NJPW right now for me
NJPW wants Moxley bad. They’re gonna give him some big wins and such to entice him for more dates and possibly a Jericho-type role. From the sound of it, he really likes it too. The only issue is that AEW would definitely be easier to work with long-term unless Mox wants to basically run RoH.
What I am surprised is how much the crowd seems to FUCKING LOVE HIM. Like the last few times he got a pop, but his first G1 match, the crowd was chanting for Moxley in a way they usually don't other wrestlers. Dude is so fucking over with the current japanese audience, I hope this isn't a quick run and done sort of deal. Plus I feel like he adds a different sort of intensity to matches, NJPW lacks a "hardcore" dude.
I was gonna say. It’s like a cross between Onita and Hanson. Hardcore outsider that happens to be a huge gaijin that beats the shit out of people. Would honestly like to see him in NJPW’s uppercard instead of Impact 2.0
I don't think anyone in this thread said anything bad about Naito VS Yano
Absolutely based. I'm looking forward to the tag match with the two of them tomorrow. Shota is cool and the future and it's great that they're sticking him with Moxley.
He's everything japanese fans want in an american wrestler. Tall, blonde, violent and out of control, he is super intense and different. It's a pity he doesn't have that twink look anymore for the fujoshi audience, but Moxley as he is now is money in japan.
based and moxleypilled
AEW is cringe as fuck and it sucks that Moxley is in it, but he's dimes so far in New Japan. They know how to book him and he fills a spot in the roster that no one else does as the crazy hardcore brawler.
Hell, even in the worst case scenario that this G1 is one of the last two events he'll be in, I'm glad we at least got this. The crowds are into it and they always do a big pop for DEATH RAAAAIDAAAAA~~~~
If Mox beats Naito, then you know we're in for at least half a year of good shit from this partnership.
My opinion might be shit since I'm wasted but the Shingo match and the Ishii match were awesome I can't wait until this motherfuckers face each other
Also I doubted Mox but he had a nice match and I'm still breathing with the Chadblade
>Refuses to count a clean fall in your path
Fuck red shoes
