Has another fuckin boring main event in you’re path

>has another fuckin boring main event in you’re path
why do you guys overrate the fuck out of this shitter

Yeah next time he should do some flips and kiss his opponent

what, not enough flips and superkicks for you?

He actually did good in this event

>90 year old Suzuki has a better big match against Goto than Chadblade

eh

He’s literally Triple H mid-2000s tier.

Overly long matches where he wrestles above his ability and they just end up being boring.

That goto match was kino though senpai

that was 2018 MOTY
not every match can be on that level

Yeah we all saw you post it in the live thread and draw 0 serious (you)s you dumb bitch, posting it twice isnt going to make it correct.

2019 NJPW bookers are Gedo and Tana, and Tana fucking love Jay and Okada
They will be on main event forever
Eat shit Naito fags

>giving him any (You)s
you gotta hit these no draw simps with an @ my dude

doesn't Liger help book some of the jr stuff as well?

Sorry it was me, if it's any solace I just hit him with the zero effort "not enough flips"
I'll do better next time

Everyone will remember kino like Naito vs Ibushi sawdusting eachother while no one will remember a Jay match unless this shitter improves, thankfully he is young and has potential so he might become one of the GOATs

Jay vs Tanahashi from the BOSJ finals was better than any of the Ibushi/Naito matches this year and it had 1(ONE) actual bump in it. Get a clue.

Thats like, your opinion man.

Naito and Ibushi are just better wrestlers than White BUT White is younger than both and has all the time in the world to improve, giving him the big title this early was a mistake.

>that was 2018 MOTY
I see you are a man of culture and good taste.

I'd say they were about the same level.
They were completely differents styles of match though so it's silly to even compare.

That match was based and I don't even like this dude or Njpw.

Absolutely seething

Jay is an old school wrestler
zoomers and flippyfags would underrate him

>zoomers and flippyfags would underrate him
The same zoomers and flippyfags hype Ishii tho, face it Jay is a shitter

Ibushi and Naito are flashy high-octane wrestlers. White is more in the vein of Okada and Tanahashi where he works a methodical style and builds to the bigger spots. Horses for courses.

Naito and Ibushi can work slow too,White cannot work "fast" or stiff well.
He's still the second best gaijin in the company after Ospreay though.

>He's still the second best gaijin in the company after Ospreay though.

I unironically enjoyed Moxleys matches more

You have no idea how mad I am at Omega for leaving like a simp to AEW and leaving us stranded with fucking Ospreay and White. I will never forgive him.

Moxley is mediocre as a wrestler and we knew this for a decade,he had to be carried by Juice and will only work short matches because he's that limited in the ring.

This. Moxley is the gaijin equivalent of Yano. Quick matches that feel fresh and unique to him and that are entertaining and over before they get old. He's much better than White.

Matter of preference, really. I can say that I've enjoyed White's work this year more than Ibushi and Naito's.

>Moxley is mediocre as a wrestler
Literally, every, EVERY, match he had NJPW and AEW included were great.

Moxley VS Taichi was also better than White VS Goto.

Deanmark is that you

Ospreay is as good if not better than Omemega,is actually loyal and is not a fag

The only semi good match he had was with Juice and he was absolutely carried

t.Moxley

He is right tho.

Toru Yano beat Tetsuya Naito > Tomohiro Ishii beat Jeff Cobb > Jon Moxley beat Taichi > Hirooki Goto beat Jay White > Juice Robinson beat Shingo Takagi
Don't (You) me

>He didnt like Mox vs Janela

ding-dong diddly shit taste

White is better than your favorite. Why? Because he'd rather wrestle like someone who's actually intelligent instead of just take everyone's moves for the sake of Exciting Sequences!

>t. Cody

>Moxley is the gaijin equivalent of Yano
Complete overrated garbage that doesn't belong in the G1? I agree

>Moxley haters are also Yano haters
Not even remotely surprised

That showed that Moxley is only good at garbage wrestling

Yano is good at his role, what is Moxley role? Overpushed gaijin that will never be credible because he's boring in the ring?
Now that i think about it he is pretty good at that.

>he doesn't like garbage wrestling

ding-dong diddly shit taste

Quick matches that feel fresh and unique to him and that are entertaining and over before they get old. He's much better than White.

>they get old

That's what happens when you have shitters in the ring like Fale and Moxley.

Agree.

The reason Jay White is cool as fuck, aside from being a great character and heel, is how he integrates that in his matches. He's a chickenshit heel who's super arrogant, and wrestles like that, using wiley tricks of timing and distance instead of huge strikes or tech wrestling or big throws. Examples of this are when the face has him downed and is lining up a lariat, instead of getting to his feet and eating the lariat or trying to counter it, when he sees it coming he just slumps on the ground smiling, knowing that the opponent can't even attempt the lariat if he just lies down. It's cowardly but also wiley which is what his character is, and it also triggers the audience because they don't get to see the face hit his big lariat, and he'll do it over and over again even though it's blatently a pussy move because it's effective in kayfabe, and also the more he does it, the more frustrating it is to watch and the more you want to see him get fucking smashed by the move. It's great psychology. He did this really well against Tanahashi when Tana was trying to slingblade him.

Another example of how he uniquely uses space and timing as a weapon instead of traditional offense is how he uses his environment as a weapon, repeatedly smashing his opponents back and forth between the rail and ring, using the posts, the apron, and fucking with the countout rules to play mind games with his opponents and fuck with the audience. That's his style and nobody else is doing it and it's SUPER effective for his character. Ishii does choppas, ZSJ does mat wrestling, Ospreay does flying, and White does this environment as a weapon thing instead of using his fists or feet.

He uses his distance and timing as a weapon by using those concepts to fuck with common tropes, as above. Another example is in his match with Goto tonight where Goto did his surprise counter headbutt spot White countered that by just beating him to punch and throwing a jab to counter the counter.

This match was based as fuck.

That match was brilliant. Switchblade was so good at drawing the crowd in and creating heat. Every little detail in his control segments were on point. Loved those bursts of urgency from him as well, where he showed he can move quick and hit hard when he needs to. Goto played his part well, but this was the Jay White show all the way. I came out of it feeling like White could work with anyone.

Also like to add to this that I think he may not be in the right promotion for his style which is heavy on great psychology and storytelling, but not visually impressive (which is why zoomers can't into his matches). But also, there really is no promotion right now that would allow him to showcase those things he's strong at where he would fit in better because WWE and AEW are garbage and every other American promotion is just visual bullshit. Maybe he would be great in TNA, or maybe if NWA gets off the ground again.

So I agree he doesn't really fit in, which is part of what makes him great and sets him apart, but also I could see why it would be difficult for some of the new NJPW audience to "get" his matches.

This is where you lost me, kiddo. He's perfect for NJPW.

Not enough slapthigh for ya?

He would be perfect if he gained weight instead of looking like Omega but with half the agility, fuck even Ospreay looks bigger than him.

>Literally, every, EVERY, match he had NJPW and AEW included were great.
>vs Juice
Was okay. Juice carried.
>vs Janela
Two shitters
>vs Taichi
Was okay, very short, low bar.

If anything I think he's underrated. One of the few guys that actually knows how to wrestle as a heel. Strong as well too, multiple variations of suplexes. You just have shit taste OP.

He's the spot filler for Finn Balor in NJPW.
Overrated and pushed to the moon.

>it's another "Jay White is too smart for Yea Forums" thread

>choppas isn’t the same as flippyshit.

Not enough flips and trannies for you?

He's a meme you got worked by OP.

Yea Forums never overated him at all, you just got worked by the "kek what a Chad Chadblade is! He's m- m-much better than Omega!" anons who cope over Kenny leaving and wishing they were like Jay irl.

He's unironically perfect for WWE though.

he looks like a bottom twink

You're thinking of Ospreay, faggot.

Ospreay's actually good enough to work the NJPW heavyweights and potentially WWE simp.

People just don't understand his style. The entire match was too smart for people conditioned to high spots. It was a great "technical wrestler vs wrestler fighting on pure will" type of match. Told a great story, but I guess people just want flips and over the top power moves.

His style isn't compatible with NJPW main event style. The whole company is based on 'workrate' and it's what they're selling to their audience. And he isn't that.

He's the perfect fit for WWE though. Not a critique of him because he's great, but NJPW isn't for him.

>The whole company is based on 'workrate' and it's what they're selling to their audience.
Lmao

every time i see jay white being talked about or webms, it's always backstage segments
i don't watch njpw
i have no clue what his style even is, and have never seen a single move from him
no one ever talks about his wrestling
sell me on jay white Yea Forums, what are some of his bets matches?

I'm trying to remember his moveset right now and nothing comes to mind other than the Downward Spiral.
I must have watched dozens of his matches.

Attached: eb.png (638x359, 314K)

There's also "Gedo interferes" and "Steel chair"

>he actually watches the wrestling
Crinje. I watch promos only.

>Nu Japan Pro Wrestering is the greatest professional wrestring available on the pranet
>Nu Japan has the best wrestring
-Kaz Okada, almost every post match promo

Yes they are simp, they're literally the biggest workrate company in the world and market themselves as such, especially to the smarks in the West who were key to their expansion and record revenues. The Omega/Okada 2017 match meme was the best thing that happened to them in years because of how much people were raving about it.

From this year;
Vs Ospreay, NJPW 47th Anniversary Show
Vs Okada, MSG
Vs Tanahashi, BOSJ Finals
The match with Goto tonight was also quite good, but I'm not sure whether I prefer it to their match at Hi no Kuni.

aspies latched on to him as the top gaijin after Omega left so naturally they're going to overrate him.
Then they pretended Omega was never good despite riding his cock for years.

This, he's amazing, you guys are just new.

Kek what an absolute shitter

Yea Forums liked Jay before Kenny left, newfag.

Because he is a Kiwi so all the Aussie shitposters have adopted him.

Match was boring as fuck, but at least both Goto and Jay are quicker than Moxley, who manages to wrestle at the pace of a 60 year old Ric Flair
