Why has no one in the world heard of tax write offs?

Does ANYONE have a job?

The tax deduction is never the same amount as the initial expense. They lose money on this.

>"they can't do that for 30 superstars"
Why can't WWE have a fleet of tour buses?

>You have to DRIVE a CAR?!?! How HORRIFIC!!!
literally what did she mean by this

>you have a CBA?

SHUT IT DOWN

>they can't do that for 30 superstars

what wrestling promotion was she talking about that has 30 people

People in entertainment and sport think WWE is a joke.

This has been known, they also pay for their own hotels

I'm surprised a group of wrestlers haven't tried splitting the cost of a tour bus.

shit like this is why John was champion forever

This stuff makes you wonder if maybe Vince is mart to keep wrestling niche. A lot of his business tactics don't need mainstream attention.

Brock made Vince buy him a plane back in like 2003. He is a great businessman.

Real actors, musicians, entertainers, sportspeople get driven around on a tourbus and a charter plane.

When Stacy Keibler did Dancing with the Stars and mixed with real celebrities she couldn't believe how well they were treated compared to wrestlers so she quit WWE.

give Asuka the strap now

based Brock and his top level autism

imagine literally making a power point presentation breaking down 1st class tickets vs. private plane and private plane proved to be more economical

Guess who's gonna lose their title on Sunday now!

>When Stacy Keibler did Dancing with the Stars and mixed with real celebrities she couldn't believe how well they were treated compared to wrestlers so she quit WWE.
Actually all the stars were shocked at how poorly Stacy was treated. They pretty much all laughed at WWE.

This. The wrestling business has always been run by carnies, that's one of the reasons why so many people on the current roster are marks who are just happy to be there. They're die-hard fans who don't care how poorly they get treated. Anyone who is serious about having a career in "entertainment" or isn't a wrestling geek got a clue and either quit or avoided the wrestling business altogether.

haha,
techdirt.com/articles/20100712/23482610186.shtml

>The wrestling business has always been run by carnies
it's because wrestling literally is the traveling circus.
AEW now is even bringing back the bearded lady

My first thought too

It's not all about the money, it takes a lot of time too and that can't be refunded to you.

she isn't an e-drone so she expects the company to handle travel arrangements for their talent.

Let's be real, she was always going to lose it. I wouldn't be surprised if knowing that played a factor in her mentioning this here desu

no bayley will lose it to her good friend Nia Jax the next night

Vince is gonna be maaaaaaddddd

any good shots of bayley's gazongas

lmao press F to pay respects to bailey's career and large backside

>do you guys want me to negotiate for ya?!

bwahahaha

source

Yea it's happening. Wrestling twitter is already jumping on this. Reddit is on it. AEW's comment will be next. They'll be lucky to contain this before the Philly crowd thinks of a chant.

what were they thinking letting a doofus like bayley do an interview

I think it was in his book.

Bayley had a mini panic attack she mention said CBA kek

>Companies still caring what internet marks think
sounds strange to me no matter how many times i hear it, sort of like the time vince waited 6 months to let JBL go just to spite the whining retards, because he doesnt give a fuck what any of them think

There is no fucking way this is true. Maybe rent him a private plane but no way Vince bought one.

Lol what touring show has LESS than 50 people involved? Has this bitch ever been to the circus?

The hilarious thing is they fucking do it for the writers and stage crew

>billionaire who thinks he's going to use brock as the next hulk hogan for 20 more years not buying him a plane
why is this surprising to you?

I think that shows that she's brainwashed by the company desu

The point is that they overpay them and so that they have the freedom to book their own travel. Some people drive, others fly, some travel together, some prefer to go alone, some even take their family in an RV like Lacey.

They work like 4 days a week for like 3 hours a day, boo fucking hoo. Traveling and working out is on them.

ohhh noooo we have to drive to a job where we get paid stupid amounts of money to fake fight for 10 minutes a day, oh noooo sadface my life ;( #thegrind

God I fucking hate zoomers. I worked 12 hour shifts minimum wage while studying full time back in my college days. Get the fuck over it, your life is pretty fucking good being at the wwe. Try loading trucks for a living and then talk zoomers.

Why does voluntary agreements between employees and employers scare you? Did mommy and daddy tell you that everyone was just gonna wrap you in a blanket and hug you your whole life?

these simps could literally hire a full time private driver themselves if they wanted to. yhey get paid plenty, especially the top talent. hire a driver and get a small group in a van and split the cost. nope easier to just complain all day long as most of them have not worked real jobs a day in their entire lives.

As reported by Jeremy Botter, Bleacher Report's lead MMA writer, part of Lesnar's contract ensure that he is provided with a private jet by the WWE in order to fly him to and from his home. This despite the former UFC star already having a private jet of his own.

Ok, can someone please explain to me why this is a problem? I'm an independent contractor too, the reason I cover my own shit is because my check ends up being larger than if I had a company pay for my shit, insurance, gas, even if I ended up not using it that day. At the end of the day if I spend the money I earned irresponsibly it's my fault not like I expect the person to cover me the rest of my life.

lmao this post, the absolute state of trumpy americans OHNONONONO

the problem is you're on Yea Forums expecting with what is mostly just dumb kids shitposting to get (You)s

It's funny because WWE wants to be viewed as major entertainment company but their 'superstars' are waiting at the rent-a-car line and driving on the highway for 10 hours.

Your problem is you're not a liberal and have an actual brain.

>I'm an independent contractor too

user, what forms do they use to file taxes?

>wwe spends more money on tarps and curtains yearly than on transportation and accommodation for their talent.

OH NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

ya standing up for WWE?

AEW does this as well as every other wrestling promotion...

At a certain point, your free time is worth money

Wrestling is a carnival that is respected by no one.

Yeah and the point to decide that is before you sign the contract. Even retail salary workers are expected to work more than 40 without overtime.

WWE wants to be seen as a "real" company, but they're not. Do you think actual celebrities pay for their own travel and food? nigger even I don't pay for my own travel and food, the company covers that shit.

Sure, but that has far less to due with the backstage antics than what they present in the ring. I can assure you tom cruise pays his own health insurance as well.

correct but the problem with these threads is always the same: you're implying that the user your replying too has any idea what a real job is and is not a neet and/or teenager

Most individual athletes do pay for their own shit though.

He probably does to get the best coverage but SAG covers all actors in the union.

Pro athletes get a stipend for food when on the road. The team obviously covers travel and hotel.

>Imagine caring about this.

Sports has their own problems with tax law.
>What makes players’ taxes interesting is the fact that NFLers don’t just pay where they live. They pay where they play and, most notably, where they practice.

Nobody. Bayley did nothing wrong and defended the company like a good little dronie.

How much did Stacy get paid?

This nigga is UGLY

because marks don't know that they're marks anymore and unironically think of themselves as one of the boys

Bro if you work over 40 hours on an hourly low wage job you get paid overtime. It's actually illegal not to do that.

He said salaried.

key word: salary.

if they are on contract they are.

Who the fuck cares. If I was getting paid so much thousands of money I wouldn't give a shit.

Tbh only the nxt workers have any right to "complain" but they work basically one fucking building the entire year.

>so much thousands of money

Attached: flat,550x550,075,f.u1.jpg (550x550, 38K)

you don't just fucking get back what you paid if it's a write off you fucking retard. you get a bit put towards your taxes. not a whole fucking refund. are you sure YOU'VE ever had a job?

They have.

Which is why WWE pays for their rentals and hotels when they are out of town, so nothing to complain about there actually.

god this place is retarded

Us men can handle it and won't bitch about it while getting an extra .33c to every dollar a bitch makes.

You're probably right. At the end of the day I can't feel bad for them, IF they hate it they'll quit and if they don't hate it they won't. It's simple. I can't imagine spending any time of my life helping wrestlers like they're retarded children.

most of the people "fighting" for others online do not have careers

You guys think the women in the locker room were pissed at how much Ronda made, or accepted it since she was in UFC and movies beforehand?

She elevated the entire division by even being there. Yeah she was washed up, but you can bet she legitimized scrubs like becko.

"pay your dues" marks were made
everyone else was fine

>I chose to work an awful job, look how tough I am
Lmao

Ah yes, because in the socialist state everyone gets payed what they’re worth and can take their free time to pursue art and fuck freely. The true cuckoldry is being bad at capitalism with bitching at anons on the internet the only thing to do. Now I’m off to have dinner with my family before I fuck my wife and watch ‘84 Mid South on the network.

I don't think they had a choice but to accept it. Ronda was probably the first female athlete to have a "Tyson effect" for lack of a better description. She was probably bigger than the entire combined efforts of anyone in women's athletics until she got heemed.
If I'm someone like the Riott Squad, I'm more pissed someone like Lana is making 2.5 times as much to be a valet and be on total divas.

Wtf? Nikki has two TV shows and major mainstream crossover appeal. Probably sells more merch too. How does Charles Get a bigger contract.

CM Punk had a personal one for himself during his WWE run. I think he was kind of an asshole and just used it for himself too

Nigga, are you stupid or dumb?

I thought Bliss and Lynch made more.
Don't they sell tons of merch?

What he is, is a contracted performer that is being paid to do literally just one thing. No setting up, no working the lights, no helping in gorilla, no taking down the ring, ONE fucking thing. He shouldn’t have to worry about “Muh backstage heat” for not liking the fact that his employer is basically using him as unpaid labor. He doesn’t have to pay dues or get respect from producers, he has to wrestle and go home. WWE being an ass backwards carny shit-fest is the reason wrestling as a whole is viewed as the trashiest medium of performance.

I imagine they have dog shit merch percentage numbers. I think Cena's is around 5%, no way the women are close to that.

why does Dana Brooke or Lana get paid more than Naomi?

WWE is literally as good as it gets for women wrestlers in the west. Women NEVER draw and always make peanuts in the indies since there is no demand for them outside of the rainbow hairs and trannies.

the current year man already covered this

WWE needs AOC. Vince shouldn’t even own the company it should belong to the roster

aoc? she could probably do a dumb bitch gimmick better than vicky.

How the fuck are you supposed to drive 5 hours or more on the nights you get banged up in a match? Also depending on the Call times and driving laws, a lot of these wrestlers shouldn't be on the road after a 12 hour day

Per IRS Topic No. 511
>Travel expenses for conventions are deductible if you can show that your attendance benefits your trade or business. Special rules apply to conventions held outside the North American area. Deductible travel expenses while away from home include, but aren't limited to, the costs of:

>Travel by airplane, train, bus or car between your home and your business destination. (If you're provided with a ticket or you're riding free as a result of a frequent traveler or similar program, your cost is zero.)
>Fares for taxis or other types of transportation between the airport or train station and your hotel, the hotel and the work location, and from one customer to another, or from one place of business to another.
>Shipping of baggage, and sample or display material between your regular and temporary work locations.
>Using your car while at your business destination. You can deduct actual expenses or the standard mileage rate, as well as business-related tolls and parking fees. If you rent a car, you can deduct only the business-use portion for the expenses.
>Meals and lodging.
>Dry cleaning and laundry.
>Business calls while on your business trip (This includes business communications by fax machine or other communication devices.)
>Tips you pay for services related to any of these expenses.
>Other similar ordinary and necessary expenses related to your business travel (These expenses might include transportation to and from a business meal, public stenographer's fees, computer rental fees, and operating and maintaining a house trailer.)
>Instead of keeping records of your meal expenses and deducting the actual cost, you can generally use a standard meal allowance, which varies depending on where you travel. The deduction for business meals is generally limited to 50% of the unreimbursed cost.

Wasn't on the list, but I see $250,000 popping up the most frequently. The horsetties are all in the same ball park.

>Kevin Owens $2 million
Are you fucking kidding me?

The issue is that Bayley is shoot dumb and can't handle pressure. Lexi's jewish acumen would have pulled out something like "the travel really makes the girls backstage a family and we enjoy spending the time with each other" or some bullshit like that. Bayley's dumb ass inspires people to take pity on her and negotiate a CBA on her behalf, because obviously she has no idea what she's doing.

The extent of this woman's press interaction should be hugging kids with cancer and smiling.

In that case they need to make Asuka champ again since she can't communicate any complaints

But the shittiest one makes double
It's just funny, WWE is so desperate for mainstream acceptance and brag about being a entertainment powerhouse and still acting like the carnies they are

imagine working for a company that requires you to travel and eventually get hurt while working for them but they don't pay for your travel or health insurance. and they call fans marks, kek these simps in the ring are even worse than the fans.

After the Twitter link video ends, she tries to say how they become friends traveling together on the road, but by then it was too late and the damage was already done. She should've opened up with it instead of saying traveling is hard which opened shit up.

Bayley can't think of good dialogue on the spot and needs a team of writers. No wonder Booker T and her own hero Lita roasted her.

>Yea Forums admits WWE wrestlers don't draw
>tickets sales are down and people aren't interested in the wrestlers
>executives make the tv deals that actually brings in big money
>investors put money into WWE knowing executives got their shit together
>executives make a lot of money while wrestlers continue to be paid at equivalent rates to past wrestlers despite having tremendously less value as employees since they don't draw

Literally what's the issue?

Yep. It's "that camera over there?" all over again. I still maintain that the only way to get Bayley over is to give her a mute gimmick and a mask and make her female Kane.

punk pushed super hard for tour busses when he was a top guy, and actually got himself and a few other people a bus for a while, but shortly after he quit the company they started telling the talent they had to 'cut expenses' and did away with them (because they never wanted to do that shit to begin with and since the guy who pushed so hard for it left the company on bad terms...)

Can't wait to see Bailey job out to Nicolas on Monday night as her punishment for complaining.

She still can't wrestle for shit though.

You really told on yourself with this one.

Bayley's constant ability to put her foot in her mouth and fuck everything up the SECOND she's handed a live mic will never cease to amaze me.

Does WWE even have health insurance at this point? Do they still call all the talent 'independent contractors' so they don't have to give them any benefits?

wwe will cover medical costs as far as stuff like if you were injured in a ring and can't work for however long and need rehab/surgery....but stuff that happens outside of the ring they won't cover, like that time liv morgan broke her foot playing around on a stripper pole on her off day like a complete moron

they covered for roman's cancer treatment...whether they'd do the same for someone lower down the card if they suddenly came down with cancer or whatever, i dunno

they paid for mike kanellis' rehab, they'd pay for anyone's cancer treatment.

>Literally everyone is treated better than the talent that puts on the show
Vince really does hate wrasslin doesn't he.

This. I don’t see why she would get punished since it’s not like she complained.

>Goldust $400,000
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHA
no wonder he is so pissed at vince

When was the last time Sin Cara even wrestled on TV?

Travel wouldn't be so bad in Japan since it's the size of california and the bullet train can get you most places.

He had knee surgery last year, but even before that he was scarcely seen. Maybe he is in a lot of house shows.

And you'd get to travel with Pieter.

Attached: Bullet Club Pieter.jpg (750x418, 53K)

his short feud with Andrade maybe?

The biggest problem is dealing with travel plans. Lot of wrestlers try to get on a plane home as quick and often as they can. Back in the day you'd get wrestlers talking about not even getting a hotel room but staying in the lobby of whatever hotel everyone was at so they could be on a 6AM flight home for a day or two, and then back on the road.

The only time the WWE/WWF ever had a tour bus then was when they were in another country and are all going via a charter flight from CT to where ever the hell they are going, the tour bus makes sense because they all are traveling together and there really is no down time.

>burguers cuckoldry
gets vine-whipped by a pack of niggers, then his son gets killed at school by an edgy neet

Maybe if any of these shitters could draw they'd get better treatment

it's not just money, it's the energy needed to drive from town to town every day

What kind of schedule will the WWE be running come October?

Work week begins friday with Smackdown then 2 house shows on the weekend and the week ends on Monday Night Raw?

International tours are different but that's what 5-6 times a year?

Too obvious

"independent contractors"

I hope WWE and pro-wrestling dies in the next decade 2020-30.

Matt Hardy said him, Jeff, and Lita would travel together and book the cheapest, seedy hotel while on the road and that they'd book only one room to share together. It wasn't because they couldn't afford it. They wanted to save all their money.

Now you have wrestlers staying in 5 star hotels every night, working out in state of the art gyms, owning brand new cars, and traveling in first class plane seats. Bunch of crybabies who can't manage their money.

>This despite the former UFC star already having a private jet of his own.
OUT FUCKING PLAYED
Vince is playing 5D chess, but he's nothing but Brock's pawn in 9D poker

>Lana $200,000
Hot damn. I bet it rustles Bayley's jimmies than a sloot like Lana is equal to her in the company's eyes.
Also, I make more in salary than Mandy lol

>Vince
>Billionaire
I've got some bad news user...

Here’s what’s hilarious: talent pays for their own travel and the house show biz is still losing money. We are slowly at the point that wrestling IS ONLY a TV show filmed in arenas around the country.

Vince could literally cut house shows and improve revenue

This. If they were they could work the indies whenever they wanted and WWE couldn't stop them

Dirty Jobs was a good show desu

Oh wow you did not have a good comeback there.

why would anyone go to a wwe house show

The tweet’s been deleted. Bayley’s done for, lads.

Jesus fucking Christ Bayley looks like 50yo hawaiian woman.

Damn they really did it. The host still has her tweet up where she mentions the CBA, but no video cause she just linked to the original tweet

that's just gonna call more attention to it, bunch of morons

i mean, he's not really wrong. even after expenses and taxes, the main roster earnings are like in the 90th percentile. they ain't hurting

Wasn't it Leo Rush that bitched about not being able to survive on his nearly $200,000 a year contract? Seriously, I have to wonder how he'd react to having to it the way wrestlers used to do it. 4 guys per room, sharing beds, sleeping in Motel 6 or worse places.

Any of the wrestlers that make $200,000 are in the top 4% earners in the US. $300,000 puts them in the top 2% of earners.

and i'm sure when wwe was asking fox to take the video down they told them to make a note for none of their hosts to talk about this subject, bayley just gave anyone that wants to do a John Oliver like piece on wwe a nice video clip they can use.

They're blonde muscle girls

Someone posted it on r/television on reddit. That sub has 15.5 million subscribers, and it got upvoted over 8k times. When even normies are talking about your fuck up. Google Bayley and all the top results are about it and even mentioning them deleting the tweet.

RIP Bayley you're fucking done

Bix to the rescue by reuploading it himself.

What an absolutely dumb bitch. Did she not realize going on record in an interview like this and saying how life as a wwe wrestler is hard and basically alluding to how she sometimes is scared she's gonna get murdered/raped in places has them wrestle with that "sketchiest towns" comment probably isn't the best idea for wwe pr? You can tell she knew she fucked up when she gets asked about a CBA.

They travel in packs you retard so they split the cost of the rental car and room, and rotate drivers.

They're contracted to do the job for WWE. A roofer can't work on two houses at once because they can't accept two contracts at once.
