SMACKDOWN RATINGS FUCKING PLUMMET; DOWN 15% FROM LAST YEAR

"This week's SmackDown did the show's fourth-lowest ratings since moving to Tuesday night, coming in at 1.853 million viewers, down from last week's 1.89 million viewers, which was also a near record low. It was a weak night in terms of cable TV viewership as, despite the near record low, SmackDown still finished seventh in overall viewership. Year-over-year, SmackDown was down 15 percent, one of the larger drops in recent weeks."

>It-it'll g-get better when Bischoff and H-Heyman t-take over! J-just you wait, ratings are g-gonna skyrocket!

OH NO NO NO NO NO NO. It's over, E-drones. No matter how many reset shows WWE has, no matter how many times WWE says "everything will change", people have given up on it.

2016: 2.6 million
2017: 2.4 million
2018: 2.1 million
2019: 1.9 million

If we continue at this paxe (@ .3 mil loss per year):
2020: 1.6
2021: 1.3
2022: sub 1 million (some twitch streams get more than this)

Bischoff hasn't taken over yet dum-dum

Get in here AEChads

God Fox executives are absolute fucking morons. Did Vince call in a favour from Trump to help with the TV deal? Why the fuck would you pay a billion dollars for this shit?

No Lexi = No dimes

Maybe Im wrong but it seems like the ratings for Smackdown have been on a continuous decline ever since they started making the show seem irrelevant and like a repeat of the previous nights RAW?

>B-bischoff hasn't t-taken over yet! Ratings w-will skyrocket when people know he has!
The casual viewers do not know that, casual viewers have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, neither do the rest of us. The only thing they have to go off of, is the tweet that WWE sent out about Heyman and Bischoff becoming directors of Raw and Smackdown. Just the announcement alone should've garnered "buzz" and it hasn't. Ratings are still going down, fans aren't even giving Heyman and Bischoff a chance. People are giving up on WWE, no matter what moves they make or how hard they try.

DEM SÖYBOYS BAWLIN

>This week's WWE SmackDown episode, featuring the final hype for WWE Extreme Rules with Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler in the main event, drew 1.853 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily.
>This is down from last week's 1.890 million viewers, and the third-lowest SmackDown audience for a non-holiday first-run episode in history.
>SmackDown was #8 for the night in viewership on cable, for the second week in a row,
>SmackDown was #2 in the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic this week, behind Real Housewives, which drew 1.820 million viewers.
>The big draw on network TV at 8pm was America's Got Talent on NBC, which drew 9.805 million viewers.
>To compare, Monday's go-home WWE RAW drew an average of 2.352 million viewers, down from last week's 2.496 million viewers.

And it's only going to keep dropping.

That actually does seem to be the case....and I don't blame people for tuning out now that it's back to being the Raw recap show again..

bulbasaurs don't draw brother -HH

God that fucking nose

>put the strap on a nigger
>audience disappears
really activates the old almonds

>wwe champ kofi and roman reigns are on raw nearly every week (meanwhile seth rollins has only shown up on smackdown once!)
>kofi just got done defending his title against a guy from raw at multiple shows and is now defending it against another guy from raw at the ppv
>bayley just got done defending her belt against a raw woman and is now going to be defending it against two at the ppv
>aleister blacks mystery opponent they spent over a month building up is a guy from raw
>meanwhile all the raw belts are being defended against actual people from the raw roster
>all of the top angles on smackdown are also being ran on raw, but the top angle of raw (seth and becky vs lacey and corbin) hasn't been on smackdown
>the show is littered with recap videos of what happened the previous night on raw

what is the point in bothering to watch smackdown when they make the show and its roster seem so pointless...?

OH NONONONONO

based and lexipilled

We still had some smack kino before Wrestlemania but the superstar shakeup ruined it when they decided all the big stars had to be on both shows.

I believe in Eric

The worrying number isn't the viewership but the demographics. The 18-49 demo fell from 0.68 last year to 0.53, a 22% drop year over year. The sharpest drops were amongst younger viewers, with the "Female 12-34" demo down 25% and the "Male 18-49" demo down 27%.

Eric’s changes aren’t in place until after Extreme Rules ya simp
