>After the match, Shoko comes out and makes the title match official. Shoko vs Mizuki will be in September in Osaka. Strangely, there is a Korakuen Hall show booked the week before, which makes me wonder what they are planning for that. Shoko vs Su Yung?
Thoughts? Do they not trust Mizuki or Shoko to draw to Korakuen?
John Reed
They want a big match to headline their first show in EDION Arena #2, which is probably happening from a package deal of DDT running the building that same day.
Pull the trigger on the tag team and draw dimes already

Anyone have that old webm/pic of Shoko walking around with Kamiyu and she has a backpack twice her size on and a floor length skirt and basically looks like a cute homeless midget
Michael Wilson
I thought I did. I think it was Kamiyu recording it but good luck
Kenny uploaded that picture and then a few minutes later the official poster got posted that has Bea's incorrect name fixed and the logo changed to the Buy-In to show they're on the pre-show.
their preshow have had some important matches like the Battle Royale to determine the first ever aew world contender , the tag match at fyter fest' preshowo was also to determine a position in the tag tournament, and they have had some guys like hangman and mjf on the preshow so it's not that bad. these women are going to bury brandi VERY VERY hard with their match. not that brandi has been positioned as a big competitor tho but still
Jack Gonzalez
What are they doing for Korakuen?

I wish I was half as talented a mental gymnast as you user
How did Peter Pan special attractions go from the "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, the once in a century talent Hiroshi Tanahashi... all the way to Yasu Urano?
Ryan Sanchez
# It's hilarious because Yasu, Akito, Soma were shafted aside during Smile Squash while HARASHIMA teamed with outsiders to go after the Tag Belts. Now we have DISASTER BOX, they repeat this booking and have Yasu Urano as the outsider.
When BASARA separates from DDT, will it no longer air on DDT UNIVERSE?

Shoko has embarassed TJPW on the global stage.
Leo Wood
who gives a fuck what literal who said
Charles Anderson
A really great match. I am impressed with the sense of structure of these matches. They must have good agents producing them. Riho and Shoko had nice exchanges, Beatrice was MVP.

Alexander Rivera
In what way? Riho vs. Shoko stuff was alright but the issue is that Bea and Britt are total shitters and Britt especially had to constantly slow the match down so they didn't get to work long enough to actually do anything.
Joseph Kelly
Bea looked fine. Britt was the clear worst in the match.
John Gray
Remember the user who kept posting about wanting to see Excalibur commentate on joshi matches? I wonder where he is now.
Bea was quite easily the cleanest one in the match. Cool your gaijin hateboner a little.
Michael Gray
Plot twist: it was Excalibur the whole time.
Noah Bennett
What happened?
Isaiah Hall
Nothing outside of Britt making a clown of herself every second she was in the ring. It's just the TJPW Doomer doing his thing. He's the same guy who thinks Yuu's been embarassing herself since going freelance.
Juan Martinez
well, he isn't, because i, the one you are replying to, am the doomer and i haven't watched FFTF yet
John Perez
For a "champion" to produce a match of that quality was indeed embarrassing.
Noah Baker
Just glad that Britt appears to have been the worst one in that match, taking the heat away from /OurKaiju/
Cooper Thompson
you're a pedophile, so your opinion means less than nothing. Hopefully one of your personalities finds that mars joke, that you've made so many times now, funny because no one else will.
I have NEVER seen someone fuck up like Baker in the 20 years I've been watching half naked mandrama. I was so happy to see BIG KAIJU get the fall too
Ethan Richardson
You're in a TJPW general and you've never seen anyone fuck up like Britt Baker did in 20 years?
Joshua Smith
It was like she was high, she seems disoriented and was slow and out of place for every spot, not to mention the hilarious tag blunder Haruna on her worst days is ten times better than Britt was tonight
Angel Reed
>he's made up another bizarre nonsensical insult you should keep an eye on this pedokun, please see a doctor if any more signs of schizophrenia start to develop
The match was good, smark fans picking a few botch and try to kill the match for 8t is ridiculous. Damnit it I am hating wrestling fans more and more, these women had little ro no chemistry and still put on a good match.
Dylan Collins
Dude I have seen far farrrrrr worse botches. Ans let's talk about botches, if you stop being a smark, then that spot falls pretty well into the match. She was tired the pressure was on her so she tagged the wrong person, why does everything have to be clean in wrestling? Real athletes in real sport make mistakes like a scoring a goal against their side, how does a wrestler tagging the wrong person then realising she fucked up and then tagging the right person is that bad? I ask again wasnt wrestling supposed to be a scripted sport more than a theatrical representation where everything is clean and perfect?....
Gabriel Scott
Our kaiju got the fucking pinfall!
John Mitchell
Bea botched the fuck out of an apron sling shot. She was sloppy but luckily Baker did the biggest botch I've ever seen in the near 20 years of watching half naked man drama with that mis-tag, so Bea was forgotten about
Ayden Turner
>implying I watch TJPW besides certain individual matches of /mygirls/
Shoko Nakajima looked very, very good on tonight's show. I'd argue she was one of the better wrestlers on the entire show. Just silky smooth, no botches, nothing. The only thing you can even argue is that she took a little long to kick out from her nearfalls.
I think her theme music got her instantly over with the crowd they were cheering her pretty big considering they had no idea who she was. Also the announcer shouted her name at the exact perfect spot for her theme, I hope they timed that on purpose.
Lucas Taylor
I suppose it had enough detracting qualities that if you wanted to shit on the match you could. I thought the good qualities outweighed the bad. Even with Britt Baker out there looking like someone who had no basic training or fundamentals, the composition of the match (pacing, arrangement) was good. Also Britt's standoff and trading of elbows with Beatrice garnered the hottest reaction of the match, so while her performance may have been devoid of athletic quality, she had a presence. I think it would be hard to argue that it wasn't at least successful in front of the live crowd since they were into it. I agree with what you said about botches in the other post. Some people are just being too pedantic or trying hard to appear clever by emphasizing the "wrong" in something. Pro-wrestling was never solely about the technical elements. "A match that has powerful emotion behind it has much more impact than one that merely employs technical skill."
>It was like she was high, she seems disoriented and was slow and out of place for every spot Bee kicking her in the back of the head probably gave her a concussion
Nolan Reed
Britt just confirmed on twitter that she had a concussion after the kick. You can tell because Bea tried to whip her into the corner after the kick and Britt could barely move in a straight line and her limbs were all over the place.
Western women's wrestling fans get really fucking butthurt about joshi so the fact one of their queens (Britt) looked like hot shit and another Japanese woman got the pinfall really grates on them.
Wyatt Young
Also whoever put that match together and decided Shoko Nakajima really needed to be the heel is dumb as shit.
>um, ya so I think that Mizuki's camelt- *coughs* s-sorry *coughs* yeah so like um uh, sorry let me grab my notes. So yeah, Mizuki's cameltoe was real apparent last night. I thought the crowd reacted great to it.
Luke Taylor
>did you see that spot Pomu tried to do? what the hell was that all about? >she was trying to get over, I guess >with *that*? >I guess >it sucked!
John Clark
Dave would be too passive while Bryan would be kinda truthful but wait till he's with Vinny to go off completely.
I like her too but she doesn't have a character (despite being good) and the Jap fans stopped caring when they realized she was just going to get the standard rookie treatment of losing every match despite her skill level being way above all of the other rookies and most of the low carders.
>they realize pre-emptively that they're being stalked by a weirdo gaijin half a world away
Carter Perez
The guy who keeps making Yuka threads in the catalog is really annoying, something tells me he doesn't actually watch the show and is just desperate for a "waifu" to spam
Brandon Richardson
>something tells me he doesn't actually watch the show he's an AEW neckbeard he latched on after double or nothing and now he's desperately trying to build himself an imageboard identity as "the yukafag"
Man Yoshimura used to be cool now he's just a guy under DISASTER BOX
Ryder Stewart
Boycotting this Yosh*ko match

Spaced out completely during that intermission, only came back for MLX. Now I'm gone again.
Isaac Reyes
Miyako appeared?!
Jaxson Cox
She is a regular now. and they're running Saitama Super again. I didn't need a 2-hour match to get that info out.
Ryder Hall
>Akito/Asuka was 3 hours ago This show is long as fuck.
Justin Lewis
>Bryan: "Pom is awful! How is ANYONE supposed to take kicks o the chin seriously?" >Dave: "T-they're f-fine uh-" >Bryan: "No they're not! They're awful"
They've also removed "TOKYO" from the existing titles to expand the reach of the belts.
Gavin Reed
The tweet said something like "the Japan representative will be decided on 7/20". I hope this isn't like that retarded belt Stardom forgot about until they needed another useless belt to put on Utami.
Wow. Brookes buried Takeshita. What's the purpose of pointing out that Takeshita has no personality and fans aren't behind him, and yet insisting on pushing him as ace anyway?..
Carter Reyes
it's about time they do this.
I can see it being on the same level as the Tokyo POP belt. Maybe even bigger International>Tokyo
Michael Hall
This is how you fill Saitama Super, man.
Levi Sanchez
Because you enjoyed her last match or because you want to suck her dick?
She couldn't. Imagine Britt taking Miyu's kicks... She'd die.
Luis Campbell
That's pretty good line-up, all four of them were good in the cup. Natsupoi wins or Yuna wins?
John Robinson
The International Champion should be someone who is capable of working with opponents of different levels of experience and different styles, so I think Tatsumi will become the inaugural champion.
This, everyone in that match got over. The crowd was eating everything the girl gave and you could easily see that they all had a strong presence, those girls are charismatic as fuck, riho can handle herself like the biggest deal on earth. This also matters Also britt was concussed so it definitely hurt the match
Yuna brought the fire in her Princess Cup matches, would have no problem with her.
Rika also impressed. Again no problem. In fact Natsumi and Kamiyu have also been great and this shows that TJPW are really building up their roster at the moment.
the whole show was great. the Voices of wrestling review called it the show of the year.
Adam Long
The match by itself, no. The show, yes.
Bentley Sanchez
what's the card for Saturday's show?
Landon Gonzalez
reminds me of the guy that spams Natsumi Maki here
Brandon Hall
Thought the pacing of the show was terrible, which at this point is the defining feature of DDT's big shows it seems. I feel like I could have watched 2 G1 main cards in the time it took to get to the main event.
Jeremiah Gutierrez
I tapped out after the weapon rumble. I'll get to the last 2 matches eventually.
Yuna's new moniker is "Splash Mermaid of Inage Beach" If I'm understanding correctly, it was her nickname when she was a ring girl in THE OUTSIDER and derives from the Little Mermaid.
1. Hikari Noa Vs Mirai Maiumi 2. Yuka Sakazaki Vs Mahiro Kiryu 3. Miyu Yamashita, YUMI & Pom Harajuku Vs Nodoka Tenma, Mina Shirakawa & Himawari Unagi 4. Sakisama & Misao Vs Miu Watanabe Vs Raku 5. Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Aino Vs Maki Itoh & Mizuki 6. International Princess Title Japanese Representative Decision 4 Way Match: Rika Tatsumi Vs Yuna Manase Vs Natsumi Maki Vs Yuki Kamifuku
i wanted to watch this but at 6.5 hours I'm going to have to reserve a specific day of the week unless I skim
Colton Robinson
The IPPON lighttube deathmatch is the best fucking stipulation ever
Caleb Garcia
the only problem is that if they screw it up, then the match is ruined. Everything needs to be precise. I'd do it again, but with best of three tubes
Dominic Robinson
you guys think Yuu is pissed at the girls working AEW shows while she's grinding through the indies like a simp
Adrian Jackson
It's exactly what makes the match special, knowing that one fuck up can end the match. A couple of times I tought that's it Asuka is gonna step on it or the tube is gonna fall of the ropes after Akito hit them. They should do more, not too much tho, 2-3 times a year would be fine and maybe not for the titles so that if there is a fuck up it's not really problematic.
the tldr is since the majority(if not, all) of tjpw western fans dont know japanese, the twitter user in question feels inclined to put out fake translations
